Hi All,

I have one Query about Delivery activity in Adobe Campaign Classic

in one of my workflow, I am using DELIVERY ACTIVITY and set action to Prepare,

Do DELIVERY ACTIVITY always send email to Confirm this Delivery when we set action to Prepare?

In our case, we set action to 'Prepare' for Delivery activity, however, we didnt receive Confirm Delivery email, and email got send to customer

Please suggest how it happened?

Hi Shruti,

The delivery should not have been sent out if the activity was only set to "prepare." See the below paragraph from the documentation:

"Prepare: this option lets you run the full analysis process (target calculation and content preparation). The delivery isn’t sent. This action is the equivalent of selecting the Deliver as soon as possible option and clicking Analyze when sending a delivery to the main target with Delivery."

I would recommend in this case reaching out to Campaign Support to investigate as this could be a bug.

Craig
