I am not able to catch the difference btw Filtering dimension and the Targeting dimension
For instance,
Targeting Dimension:Recipient
Filtering Dimension:Recipient
and
Targeting Dimension:Recipient
Filtering Dimension: TrainingDetails
How are we defining the Filtering Dimension ?
Can some give me a clear and detailed explanation

Hello @Sreevarshini-P ,
Suppose you want to target some customers who opened a specific email. In this scenario, The targeting dimension will be the recipient, and the filtering dimension will be the delivery logs.
Targeting Dimension -> The output you expect in the end.
Filtering Dimestion -> You apply the conditions here to get the desired output.

Hi @_Manoj_Kumar_
But this only works if both tables, in your example Recipients and Delivery Logs are liked by a key right?
If there is no link, you cannot use a table as filtering dimension?
Other related question: when to use activity "Change dimension"?

Hello @ogonzalesdiaz
Yes to use this feature the schema should be Linked.
When to use Change Dimension?
- Suppose you are querying the transaction table (targeting dimension) and it is not linked with the recipient table. In this scenario, you can use the enrichment activity to create the link between these 2 tables and then switch the targeting dimension to the recipient using the Change Dimension activity.
