AMP for Email (Gmail)

Avatar

Level 2

Does anybody know if there is the ability to use AMP for Email within Adobe Campaign?

Will it be rendered correctly within the preview?

Would we need to use a different encoding setting?

We're currently using v6.1 so I doubt this version would have the functionality but it would be useful to know if it exists in v7 or if the Adobe engineers have any plans to implement this in future.

Thanks,

Kelli

Hi,

AMP uses a different MIME part which AFAIK can't be set in ACC.

Preview wouldn't work since it's not loading the gmail js, and encoding is unrelated.

Thanks,

Thanks for your reply Jon.

That's a shame, hopefully Adobe will look at adding AMP for Email support in future releases.

Hopefully. Quick correction- preview would work, just have to add the amp script tag per normal.

Hi KelFromLondon,

We are currently looking at AMP for email support. Stay tuned

First version will be limited to edit and preview the message from AMP Playground, then personalise and send through Campaign in a new mime type.
