Suppressing certain users at a destination (not segment) level?

Avatar

Level 2

Due to CCPA, we have determine that some of the tags / destinations we have setup and attached to our segments in Audience Manager are no longer compliant for our California traffic. However, separating all segments by CA and non-CA is not scalable and might need to be changed with the next new privacy law.

It would be great if we could suppress a group of users (say CA traffic) globally for a specific destination. This way we could easily accommodate these new laws.

Hi there,

You can create a segment using geotargeting platform keys in AAM:

https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/audience-manager/user-guide/features/traits/trait-geotarget-k...

Then send this segment to the ad platform/ destination and ask them to use this segment in Exclusion or Suppression for all segment definitions.

Thanks,
