BAAAM giving overflow errors

Avatar

Hello,

I've been trying to request traits by folder using BAAAM, using Mac OS. I am constantly presented with the error message: "Error while performing the requested action. Overflow."

The folder I'm requesting from has at month 20 traits inside. I can create traits with no issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

@Mike1 I'm sorry I don't have a solution but I see an instance of this error discussed in this post: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-audience-manager-questions/query-on-baaam-too...

It is likely you'll have to raise a Support ticket so someone in the Support team can troubleshoot this, ideally using the same credentials or being added to the Org.

It's honestly so strange. The rest of my team also on Apple Silicon macs have no issues at all.

Sounds like a classic overflow bug. Maybe try requesting fewer traits at a time to see if it’s a limit issue? Also, check if BAAAM has a log file—it might give more details. If all else fails, a fresh install could help. Hope you get it sorted!

Unfortunately I've had no luck at all. Regardless of the request size (tried some folders with a single trait inside). I can request everything but segments and traits.

Looked in Visual Basic for a log and I'm only getting the overflow error presenting.

I actually received a brand new mac (Air to Pro) to try and solve this issue, no luck.

If you are on Mac, it will give you an overflow error when using any requests in the requests tab. All other tabs should be working just fine on Mac. This is a limitation for Mac users and it should work fine on Windows.

It does work just fine for the rest of my team, who are all Mac users.
