Hello,
I'm working on enabling the connection between Campaign Manager (aka DCM) to AAM to capture media data and I was wondering how it impacts my product usage on my Adobe AAM license?
The contract is written as: X number of activities per month when "Activities include the aggregate total of Display Advertising Impressions, Email opens, Page views and CRM Records."
Can someone please clarify how these Activities are calculated in terms of Traits, segments, log files etc.... and when the contribute to total monthly usage.
I don't want to connect DCM to AAM serve a billion impressions and blow through my annual product usage allotment.
Please advise. Thanks.

Hello glennb29356951,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Integration with DCM involves either implementing pixels or onboarding log files.
If you implement pixels then each pixel will make a hit on AAM DCS server which will increase the server calls.
If you want to work with log ingestion then you can onboard log files from DCM into AAM at no additional cost (ALF pixels are not billable) but if you turn on AOR(Audience Optimization report)/trait/segment creation using this data then billing will start.
I hope this helps, please let me know for any additional question.
