Use adobe analytics within salesforce marketing cloud

Hi, 

I am using Adobe Analytics for tracking on our website and would like to start tracking pages made via Salesforce Marketing cloud. I have seen on the documentation that the Adobe package is no longer supported by Salesforce here: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=mc_aai_adobe_analytics_integration.htm&type=5 but wondered if there was a way around this. 

Is it possible to include the same files that are used on our website (AppMeasurement.js and VisitorAPI.js from Adobe Analytics) and manually include these in the HTML of the Marketing cloud pages? I have trialled this but I am receiving errors in the console:
