Setting Variables in DTM

If you set up your evars, events and props in DTM (ie. Event based rule evar16=xyz), do you then also have to go into Adobe Analytics>Admin>Report Suites>Edit Settings>Conversion Variables and also set up the evar/prop/event?

In short, yes.

The Admin Console determines that you're going to be using them; DTM determines how they are going to be implemented/populated.

Thanks! I'm having some issues setting up an event-based rule and can't figure out why. That was my last guess as to maybe I wasn't supposed to have the evar set in both places 😞
