Server side forwarding of analytics data to Audience Manager

Are there any implications of rolling out server side forwarding of analytics data to Audience Manager - but only for a subset of a site?

In other words, there would be some sections (where it is harder to upgrade the libraries) - that would still be using the DIL code.

Is this likely to cause any issues with our data inside Audience Manager?
