I built a number of segments a few months ago using the Page View container, with a number of inclusions and exclusions. Today I went to run July reports and "total page views" has switched to "total page views (conversion)", with the "total page view" option being no longer available. The results using "total page views (conversion)" are drastically different from previous months. Why is "Total Page Views" no longer available? I've tried several other ways to try and get to same results as previous reports with no success at all.

Hi Sharon, this would make sense if they were changed into context of conversion variables.
Page views in eVars are much different and page views for pageName or props. If you use the instances metric instead of page views, I'd anticipate you'd get results you're more familiar with.

Thanks Gigazelle - agree Instances would be the best metric but unfortunately Instances is not available either in the list of options (and I'm quite certain at one point it was there as well as the "Total Page Views" option). Adobe says they have not made any changes however we haven't either so I have no idea why just recently certain metrics are no longer available.

Instances should be a default metric in many reports, as long as you're logged in to the latest version. If you're logged in to SiteCatalyst 14, it's possible instances won't show up.
If you aren't seeing instances as a metric where you know it should be, that's definitely something I'd recommend submitting an incident to Customer Care about.
