SAINT Classification Duplicate Key Issue

Avatar

Level 2

Hi Team,

I have imported the SAINT classification files in Adobe Analytics with same key value with different data sets as shown like below:

Key

Product

Product Code

123

Books

10

123

Pen

15

123

Bag

20

When I checked in the report, I could see the data of last row only i.e.Most recent value in the report and rest of the Product and Product Code with same key is ignored in the AA reports like below.

Key

Product

Product Code

123

Bag

20

Could you please let me know how to include all the data sets in the report.

Appreciate your help!

Thanks!

Classification consider the value uploaded for key value i.e. main report. So it is going to reject first two value and overwrite with the latest one.

@AAuser93 It's an expected behavior that the last uploaded classification value of any existing key-value will overwrite the previous value (provided the overwrite option is checked). Are you looking forward to have multiple classifications of the same key? Based on your data set, I believe you should consider the values in the column "Product" as the key and then further classify it as respective "Product Code".

Thanks!

Hi @ishans52004352

Sorry for the confusion. Here is the details of the issue am facing.

Key

Product

Product Code

123

Books

10

123

Pen

15

123

Bag

20

Please consider the above table. The “last value“ is the last record mentioned for the "Product": "Bag" and "Product Code":"20", this was the only record available in AA and the other two records was not imported into AA. So if we are reporting by "Product" only the “Bag“ product and product code "20" is available for key “123”. There is no record for first 2 line items in the above table i.e. "Product" and "Product Code" that this "Key" is also part of "Books" and "Pen" product and "10" and "15" product code respectively.

I would like to see all the records in the table in AA, even though it have same key value.

Is there any way to achieve this.

Appreciate your help!

Thanks!
