Problems with Flow overview

Avatar

Level 2

Hi, I am detecting a couple of inconsistencies in my Flow overview. As a context, there are 2 different screens reporting the benefits of 2 different product that can be contracted, and there is no direct step from one to the other, the intermediary is a catalog screen. The problem is that in my visualization (at Visits level, with the Include repeat Instances option enabled), I see that there is a relatively residual percentage of users who go from one benefit screen to the other, without passing through the catalog screen. So, I would like to understand how that can happen.

Thanks

They could be using multiple tab browsing, or going to the pages via their browser history / bookmarks. If your URLs are simple, they may be advanced users who are just typing in the URL, or they may be using URLs in their paste buffer.

Or they may simply be going to the "hub" and quickly clicking to go to the other page before the "hub" has a chance to track the page view.

There are many ways to navigate websites, and they aren't always the path that the site owners intended or expect..
