Previous page name not working with getprevious value plugin

Hi All, 

I want to capture previous page name value in an evar. I have tried to do that by using getpreviousvalue plugin. However, it is returning the same value as current pagename. 

Can you suggest why this is happening and how to capture previous page name?

Can you verify what is the nature of the pages you are trying to work with? Are they a type is PSA(single page app)? regular html pages?
