pdf download error

Hi,

I’ve been receiving a daily PDF report from a Workspace project for about a month without any issues.
However, starting yesterday, the scheduled PDF report stopped being delivered.

When I tried to download the same project manually as a PDF, it also failed (error : An error has occurred with the download process. Please try again later.).

After checking each visualization, I found that the problem occurs when there is a table containing a calculated metric that uses a segment.
When I remove that table, the PDF download works again.

No changes have been made to the project configuration recently.

Could you please let me know why this issue started suddenly and whether there’s any workaround or update planned for PDF exports with segment-based calculated metrics?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

Just want to add that we are experiencing the same thing in the same time period for several of our scheduled reports.

I'll also create a support ticket and I hope that the solution will not be "your report is too long". Since several accounts seem to be experiencing this with scheduled reports that worked for months, it's not the clients' fault.

Best regards,

Christiane

Hi @jklee

can you please create a support ticket for this? Maybe it is related to the October analytics release.

Cheers from Switzerland!

I agree with @bjoern__koth the forum is mostly users, while some Adobe folks will check it periodically (they mostly monitor the Ideas area to get ideas for new features).

When it comes to errors, especially something like this where it's very specifically coming from the server, is definitely a ticket worthy item.

That said, can you check that there were no changes to the segment or calculated metric that seems to be the offending item? It's still strange that this would cause an issue though, and hopefully anyone else who just started getting an error will see this post and can commiserate here.

Good luck!

I created a support ticket and inquired about this issue. I received a reply that the engineering team is currently modifying it.
