Is anyone familiar with this referrer? android-app://com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox/

I'm seeing my campaigns with tracking code get incorrectly classified under SEO. When I break out referrer, it's under "android-app://com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox/"

What is this and is anyone facing this issue? Is this an issue with the campaign set up or do we need to update our processing rule? It looks like this is somehow getting bucketed under our natural search detection rule.

Hi there!

This is native android quick search box. Naturally it is okay to be classified as SEO.

If you experience problem with you Search Paid is classified incorrectly, then you need to ensure your campaigns rules are placed higher than SEO rules. I can imagine that you have Search Organic rule with clause 'referrer (or referring domain) contain google' then set Search Organic, then when user comes with this referrer marketing channel processing rules see this referrer and just don't go down to check you campaign code.

Yes, I concur. This is the Native Android Integrated Search Box / Search Results. I would also consider this as Natural Search.

I agree with both the replies. This is the native android search. This can be considered as part of Natural Search.
