@arin These are eVars, each behaves differently based on how the implementation is done, when you are sending eVar7 and eVar18 matters here when you are comparing the traffic of two eVars against the metrics.

If you think both are implemented identically and fired when a page loads, then it depends on the eVar settings of these two in the report suite settings

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/admin/admin-tools/conversion-variables/conversion-...

This documentation should help in basics of an evar

Hi @ARINCON ,

Page URL is complete URL of the page .

Example -  https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-questions/pageurl-v7-vs-rooturl-v18...

Root URL  is the section between the colon-slash-slash (://) and the next slash (/)

Example - experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com

So pageviews will be different. Also v7 and v18 you are referring are custom variables and specific to a implementation and may have different logic to capture the values.

Similar to what @VaniBhemarasetty said.

Check your implementation to find out how eVar7 and eVar18 are being set. Depending on your implementation method, you might need to check Adobe Experience Platform Tags (a.k.a. Adobe Launch) or your AppMeasuement code in your pages.
