Next Page Report - Segment Explanation

What is the reason for adding an exclusion rule at the end (exclude hits where Page exists) and why do we need to apply the "only after sequence", of the Next Page panel segment? I created a segment using Page as dimension and Home as value. What is the difference if I do not apply either of the two?

Hi,

Since a Visit segment will return all the hits in a visit, the only after sequence is forcing Adobe to not pull the pages from before "Home Page > Some Page", and the exclude is removing all the pages after "Some Page", leaving you with only the page immediately following "Home".
