Hello,
I had this issue in recently time. Meanwhile can some one please answer this.
In the new vs repeat visitors data is not matching with the metric data(Visits). In the new vs repeat data is showing 173 but in the metric it is showing 168. How can we solve this issue?
Thanks.

New/Repeat is a custom dimension.. how are you populating it? Is it possible that the value is being set as "new" on the first page of a visit, and "repeat" on subsequent page views in the visit for some users?
The sum of the column de-duplicates visit data where the visit hit both dimension values....
This would indicate that on the same visit some users got a value of "new" and a value of "repeat" within the same visit.
If you are using the plugin getNewRepeat; this is much more susceptible to the cookie apocalypse and ITP protocols that have come into play in the last few years... so those users that register as both could just be a result of the cookies not retaining values...

Please show a screenshot of the freeform table(s) that you're referring to, to help us better troubleshoot this.

Please find the screenshot.

This screenshot shows your "New" and "Repeat" values only. The values look correct.

If you can check the screenshot the sum of New and repeat Visitors count doesn't match with Visits data. New and repeat - 118+65=183, in Visits data it is showing 179. 183 is not matching the 179 data in visits.

Hi @sudheer3 ,
Your question does not give the details on how are you tracking the New/ Repeat visitors. Is it by the use of plugins? If yes, can you check with your implementation team if everythign is working fine?
Before going to your team - try building a segment or a metric with "visit Number = 1" for New and "visit Number>1" for Repeats.
Try and match the numbers.
