Issue with marketing channel report

Hi Experts,

I am having an weird issues with marketing channel reporting. The issue is around paid search detection. I have the below rule with paid search and it is the first one in the rules list. But, all the traffic for this campaign is getting captured into natural search. Is there a reason why ? Paid search is an out of box marketing channel. does it only detect traffic which matches "adobe paid search" detection rule.

Hi @sspatra25 : You can try the below two options:

1) Use the OOB Paid marketing channel setup.

- Add New Rule Set 'Paid Search'

2) There should be only 1 query string parameter per rule set (Refer to the definition for query string parameter in the above link). Hope this helps.

Thank you for your help with this. I actually figured out that the issue was because some of the URLs were not written to the data layer correctly. The Page URL that was sent to analytics by reading from the data layer was incorrect, which is why I was missing most of the data. I think I am good now. thank you for your help.
