Is there a way to view past iterations of segments?

Hi,

I have a segment that I use quarterly to pull performance metrics for a particular audience type (the audience 

is based on behaviour).

I recently updated it but, **bleep**ly, didn't note down the original set-up. What I though was a small change (adding in a few new URLs) that shouldn't have affected old data has completely changed the results if I pull past quarters.

I've tried recreating the original segment but everything I try doesn't match. 

Could anything other than the segment update be affecting these results? i.e. cookies?

Is there anyway to access past iterations of this segment?

Unfortunately, based on my experience, there's no way to retrieve older versions of segments (or calculated metrics).
