Integrating Lookup Data with Demandbase Data

We are trying to figure out the best way to match Adobe data with our own, and I found this article that looks like a promising solution. Here’s the use case we have in mind:

We currently have a third-party integration that allows us to see firmographic information for our site visitors, including the name of the company they work for. We want to use the company name to match to another dataset, which would allow us to define the potential and current value of a company. We’ve broken companies into different segments (enterprise, mid market, retail) based on how valuable the accounts might be.

Are there any more resources available on how to implement lookup data? Does anyone have experience implementing something like this?
