Nag,
What versions of the SDK are you using? The Visitor ID is available in all modern versions of the SDKs. Documentation can be found here. Can you also please contact Client Care so that we can investigate your issues surrounding hits not being sent, this is not intended behavior and is something we would like to resolve for you.

Can you clarify your question? If you're looking for a user's visitor ID, you can look at the s_vi cookie value for the tracking domain (example.112.2o7.net for third party cookies or metric.example.com for first party cookies; domains and subdomains vary widely).
If that's not what you're looking for, can you provide clarification to your question?

We are using Omniture module to track some internal events in our Mobile application. As we are seeing that in rare scenarios it is failing to track events, when status is returned other than 200. So inorder to avoid this we are planning to trigger omniture call from server side instead of calling from mobile end. As of now omniture is internally creating the Visitor Id and tracking the events. Now as part of calling omniture from service end requires Visitor Id to be passed in subsequent calls. Is there any chance we can get the Visitor Id programatically and send it to the webservice.
