Filter to exclude site and subsites below in Adobe analytics

We are configuring Virtual REport in Adobe Analytics so that the report excludes certain sensitive HR sites from Analytics Reports when nonadmin user login . any idea which  filter we can use in Segment builder to filter Site and Subsites below the sites ???? .. e.g. we are trying to exclude https://sptest.abc.com/hr and everything below i.e https://sptest.abc.com/hr/internal  , https://sptest.abc.com/hr/internal/internal1   etc..

Thanks

well, it‘s the same (unless i missed something)

eg for the finance departement, create a new hit-segment similar to hr (but with include „/finance“), use this as segment for a new virtual report suite and give access to the departement.

the question might be if you obly want to exclude those pageviews or the whole traffic if a visitor has visited a hr-page.

if you want to exclude only the traffic within the hr pages, create a segment like this:

“hit“ container where „page“ does not start with „/hr/„

the exclude-string might be another based on the page names you defined for those pages. or maybe you have defined another prop/evare like „channel“ which you can take to filter out the traffic.

hope that helps!

Thanks . That helped. I created HIT based filter to exclude  PAGE that starts with "/hr/"

or evar2 equals "defined page name"

or evar3 starts with "page url". This excludes HR pages .

on a related topic Is there a way to filter out everything but department specific pages ? e.g Finance department users need virtual report to view Finance page reports only https:// sptest.abc.com/finance and exclude everything else i.e https://sptest.abc.com/marketing , https://sptest.abc.com/development https://sptest.abc.com/software etc..

Thanks
