Filter out defined segment

Avatar

Level 1

If I have a segment that filters for group A and I want to compare A with ~A, do I have to define ~A as a new segment, or is there a better way?

For example, if all my traffic comes from two sources, do I need to create two segments to compare them separately,  or can I just make one and use some sort of NOT operator

Hi @benjaminmi3 ,

You can try something like below with your segment and OOB segment "All Visits",

Here I've put the segmented audience (Non-Purchasers) and entire audience (All Visits) side by side with the needed metric applied and then using context menu created an project only metric by subtracting the two columns,

This might not suite all your reporting needs but this seems to be the best alternative to creating another audience.

Cheers!
