Hello!
I am trying to track form completions that stem from certain pages on our site. I have a created a couple of fallout visuals but am confused by what I am seeing. When the fallout is changed to look at visits there are actually less form completion hits than there are when it is set to visits. I know there are instances when there can be more than one unique visitor per visit, but when I create these same visuals in CJA with people vs sessions, it is showing the same thing?
Any insight or ideas into why this is would be helpful! Thank you!

Hi @CRichwine
The reason for the discrepancy is probably because of the way your product collects data on form completions rather than visits. If the sessions are recorded differently or if multiple forms are completed in a single session, you may observe less completions while viewing by visits.
On the other hand, the CJA comparison of "people" (unique visitors) vs "sessions" indicates a consistent sum for form completions. Make sure that sessions and completions are consistently tracked in your fallout visuals. This is important because different dimensions can lead to variations in reported metrics.
I would suggest double-checking how your analytics tool handles these dimensions and aggregations.
Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks.

Thanks for the response @Pankaj_Sabharwal! That makes total sense that we might see less completions while viewing by visits rather than just completions.
I think the confusion is why there might be more completion events showing when we choose to look at visitor behavior in the fallout visual instead of by visits. I would expect there to be less completion when looking at visitors events rather than more because it is more likely to have multiple visits per unique visitor rather than multiple unique visitors per visit?
I'm wondering if it might have to do with visit vs visitors and if it is similar to the visit vs visitor scope in the segment builder. Perhaps when I choose "visitor" in the fallout and "eventual path" it will show form completions from those unique visitors that aren't necessarily from the same visit, but rather within their visitor lifetime. Visits instead may be exclusive to the same visit?
