Creating Global Segments

Avatar

I have 20 independent freeform tables in my existing project. I want a global segment filter for all those 20 tables without applying it individually. Could someone recommend a solution?

If all of your report visualisations are in the same panel, then you can apply your segment at the panel-level. Look for the "Drop a Segment Here" dotted box at the top of the panel. Drag and drop your segment into it. The segment will be applied to every visualisation within that panel.

I just want to add to this answer, if you have 20 panels (one for each freeform table), you should consider simplifying your project (unless there is a specific reason to have this many).

For instance, you may need a new panel for independent date ranges (if custom date ranges built into your tables don't work, or needing panels for different suites, etc).

But try to find how best to combine your tables into fewer panels so that panel level segments will be easier to manage.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Is there any possibilities to copy paste the segment which is in drop down to my existing freeform tables
