Adobe Heartbeat : Understanding difference between Content / Content Name (variable) / Video Name

Avatar

Level 2

Hello everyone,

Knowing that :

  • "Content" is the value put in mediaID (a.media.name)
  • "Content Name (variable)" and "Video Name" are the value put in "name" (a.media.friendlyName)
  • "Content" and "Content Name (variable)" are eVar, where as "Video Name" is a classification.

My question : Is "Video Name" a classification based on the eVar "Content" or "Content Name (variable)" or another eVar?

Thanks

Video Name is a classification report. The values in the report are populated from a.media.friendlyName. You can verify this by exporting classification data from SAINT import tool.

Hi Martin, Would like to know that in which video player (you tube, HTML5, etc) you are trying to implement this heartbeat tracking. This will help us to make a decision for our video tracking.
