Adobe Analytics user extract with Suites

Avatar

Hi Adobe,

A business segment has asked whether we can extract an Adobe Analytics user list which also contains the suites that they have access to. I have posed this question to Adobe Client Care and they have advised that a Admin report like this does not exist. Is it possible to include this functionality in a future release? The dara is already in the platform and an individual user level however it is difficult to manage 300+ licences when this detailed reporting is not available.

Thanks

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

You can use this user management tool that leverages the Adobe Analytics API here to pull a list of all users in your company account. You will get the following fields for each user:

login
first_name
last_name
title
email
phone_number
is_admin
must_change_password
is_temp
temp_start_date
temp_end_date
group_names
password

You can see the group_names each user is a member of. Then you can see what report suites each group has access to.

Best,

Ryan

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand your business situation and its true that right now its not possible to extract the user list from the interface, although it may be possible to extract via Admin API. We have already suggested this feature to the product team though I cannot commit on any date. It would be great if you could mention this feature on our ideas exchange - http://www.ideas.omniture.com

Thanks!

Hi Adobe,

I'd like to bump this request. I'm trying to query all the users by our Global report suite ID and there's no easy way. The only way to achieve this is to identify each Product Profile manually within the Admin Console which would grant access to the Global Suite, and then export the list of users and cross verify whether the users are a part of those Product Profiles or not. This should be a straight-forward relational database query if we have the UI or API to do so. Thanks.
