Adobe Analytics Data Feed Storage Estimation

Avatar

Level 1

Hello everyone,

a client would like to know how much storage has to be allocated in order to host a data feed of the entire (all fields) report suite. Is there a way to estimate the amount of storage that a entire report suite data feed will need ?

Thank you everyone.

This page has some estimates on how much memory is needed: Data Feed Contents

In short, every hit is about 500 bytes compressed and 2KB uncompressed. Multiply that by the number of hits your report suite gets a day, and that should give you a rough estimate on how much space you want to allocate on your FTP site per day.
