Adobe Analytics API for Supermetrics

Avatar

Level 2

Hi All,

We are leveraging Super Metrics alongside Data Studio for campaign reporting. SuperMetrics pulls in all our channel data including Adobe Analytics into Data Studio.

All channels are working correctly EXCEPT AA. Any have experience working with Super Metrics, Data Studio and AA who have resolved this issue?

Thanks

Hi,

You should be able to do it with Supermetrics sidebar which supports connecting to your analytics data in two ways: with Adobe ID/enterprise id or directly with username and shared secret from Adobe Analytics.

Unfortunately, you can't connect Supermetrics sidebar to Adobe Analytics with these credentials that mean the credentials you would normally use in https://sc3.omniture.com consisting of a company name, username, and password. You must use either your Adobe ID or API username and shared secret. To get shared secrets -

  • Log into Adobe Analytics, e.g. at https://sc3.omniture.com
  • Go to your profile settings via Edit profile
  • You should see a User Name and Shared Secret you can use to connect your account with Supermetrics sidebar.

Sorry but I can see the User Name but not the Shared Secret. Why?
I need also the Technical Account ID, and is not located in my /account.adobe.com/profile section

@andrea - you probably need to ask your team to add you in shared secret access folder
