Short Links to SiteCatalyst Reports and Dates

When creating a short link to a report in sitecatalyst, did you that users can't change the date range? Neither did we.. because that sounds so ridiculous but is how it was designed.

Let us change the date range - as we rely on these short URLs as shortcuts to report. Users getting access denied errors when changing the date range makes this completely useless.
