Report Views - resetting after viewing ranked

Currently the programmed behavior when switching from a ranked to trended view and back is to use the last metric that was displayed in the trended view. We have found that our users frequently get confused as they are expecting on returning to the ranked view to see all the metrics they have added in that view prior to going to a trended view. On occasions they have reported incorrect data due to an assumption that what was there when they went from ranked to trended would be there when they returned to ranked. I would like to suggest that the behavior in this case be modified so that when a user goes from ranked to trended and back to ranked that the ranked view match what was there when the user left it.
