More hours (and flexibility) to Real-Time reports

Love the new Real-Time report and we use it on our big screens so that everyone can see KPI metrics etc. We tend to follow what happens to different metrics in our office/working hours aka "last 8 hours". At the moment the max. time for real time reports are last 2 hours. Would be great if we could choose more hours for real time reports. We would like to use last 8 hours, but maybe someone would like to use real time reports up to last 12 or even last 24 hours? Real time reporting is much better and cooler than normal "hourly reports".

 

Yes, we can always use API to make custom (real time) stats for our screens, but this always means works for scrum team and takes "too much" time. We would also like the possibility to choose few daily KPI metrics that would update daily and it would show like this: Yesterday 5000 visits and with smaller number +5% (and that +5% means that visit number is 5% higher visit number than previous last 7 days before "yesterday") etc. It's very powerful to show only one KPI number so that it's large enough so people can see it from far. Smiley Happy Maybe this goes too detailed and API is solution for this kind of reporting, but as Web Analyst, I would like to have even more settings to play around with real time reporting. You have done a great job, but we (customers) always want more! Smiley Wink

Realized that my second comment goes more to "big screen KPI analytics" category and not to real time reporting, but I'm sure you got the idea... more settings and flexibility wanted to real time reports.

Those are some great ideas. I just wanted to point out that between the complexity of the API and the rigidness of the web reports, you also have access to Real-time reports in report builder (see my blog post on the topic here: http://blogs.adobe.com/digitalmarketing/analytics/two-more-ways-to-extract-value-from-report-builder... ). Keep on the lookout for more blog posts and training videos to utilize real-time in report builder even further!

And one more thing. These reports aren't working after x hours so every morning I have to login to SiteCatalyst and choose right report suite etc. I already did own username (non admin) for these real time reports so it's not even security issue for us if these works all the time / at least weekly. Even better would be if we could only add real time report access to only one username and that username wouldn't have any other rights. Anyway, would be nice if you could make some kind of fix for this too and that way we wouldn't need to login every morning to get these running.

We've solved a few issues with this in the past, and I know the team has resolved some of these issues already, but I would reach out to client care and give them all the information you can about when and how this happens. I've personally had the best luck with the latest version of Chrome running on a machine with only that open.
