Inconsistent Names For Visitor Location Data - Broken Segments & Historic Data
The vendor you use to classify IP addresses and designate visitor location changed the name of some of the cities. For instance, what was "London (England, United Kingdom)" is now "London (London, United Kingdom)". The change was made October 26, 2012. So any segment that was build prior to that will not work. And trending or Year Over Year comparisons are invalid, due to the name change. Also, the new names make less sense than the old names. Every little snafu like this causes stakeholders to lose faith in the data. Please make (and keep) names consistent.
