Enable Mobile App Lifecycle events in Data Feeds

In the new Adobe app SDK - mobile lifecycle events (such as install/crash/upgrade) are only available in Adobe Analytics - and are not exportable via Data Feeds - refer attached image for example metrics I am referring to

We expect that we can export lifecycle events in a similar manner as - so that we can import this data into our own data lake and BI platform for our own analysis

In the previous (n w legacy mobile app sdk) this data was available in the Adobe Analytics Data Feed

I see this as a feature regression and request that this feature be enabled/developed for the current app SDK

Thanks

The SDK is just an interface to send data to Adobe Analytics.. they aren't separate metrics inside Adobe's database....   once collected, those metrics would be available in the data feeds regardless of what SDK was used...

Maybe I am mis-understanding what the issue is? Are you maybe saying you aren't seeing Lifecycle metrics coming from your app at all? It's not about the Data Feeds, but the SDK itself?

What versions of SDK are you migrating from and to?

Thanks Jennifer - we are using the latest(or near latest iOS libraries) in for our native iOS mobile app - details further below

We can see the lifecycle events in Adobe Assurance logs and in Adobe Analytics - refer attached image in the original post

- we do NOT see these events in the data feed (data export to S3)

- we have submitted a support request (E-001240688) and they said lifecycle events are no longer available in data feeds (if you used the new app sdk) - and we should submit an idea here

I believe these are the library versions

  • AEPAssurance (4.1)
  • AEPCore (4.1)
  • AEPEdge (4.1)
  • AEPEdgeBridge (4.1)
  • AEPEdgeConsent (4.0)
  • AEPEdgeIdentity (4.0)
  • AEPIdentity (4.1)
  • AEPLifecycle (4.1)
  • AEPRulesEngine (5.0)
  • AEPServices (4.1)
  • AEPUserProfile (4.0.1)

Thanks
