Create a set custom date range with a right click

You can create a set date range from the left hand panel (purple tiles). It would be great if we could create this set date range from the date selector in the top right hand corner by right clicking. (We can right click on so many elements except the date selector)

I find exploring data around date ranges happens by using the top right hand date selector. But exploring gets tedious when having to re-create a set date range (that you have already selected) in the bottom left hand corner.

This is a great idea - thank you.  Good news - we already have plans to do something like this - we are considering adding a way to save a custom date range directly from the calendar.

In the meantime, one shortcut that may help a little is that you can drag your current date range from the right-hand date selector and drop it into any table, segment dropzone, etc.  This will not create a "public" segment that is available in your list, but it makes it so you can use it elsewhere in the project.
