Description -

The Classification Importer feature of Adobe Analytics supports only FTP to upload files, but not SFTP.

Why is this feature important to you -

Apart from security reasons (considering the FTP protocol as an old and unsecure protocol), Datorama, which we are integrated with, has notified they will end support of FTP protocol by the end of 2021, so, this means our integration Datorama-Adobe Analytics will break by that time.

How would you like the feature to work -

Allow uploading files via SFTP.

Current Behaviour -

Only possible via FTP.

@LuisJJ,

Your understanding is correct! as of now, Adobe supports only FTP upload for classification. Although, you may submit your concern as a feature request.

Hi,

In the link you've provided, Adobe Analytics is not in the dropdown of Adobe products, I cannot select anything related.

Where should I submit this request on?

Thanks.

@LuisJJ @hjoshi - I think for analytics you give ideas here and if they get enough traction Adobe sometimes action them. However there are some comical ones that they are just ignoring ("Report builder for mac" and "sub hit segments" spring to mind).

Following on from this request, I would love for this to be part of the Adobe API.
