Adding a "jump to bottom of list" button to Adobe ReportBuilder

If you scroll down quickly when selecting elements from list, Adobe ReportBuilder would fail to select some of them. In order to be foolproof, I would suggest adding a "jump to bottom of list" button and a "select all" button to the Select Item GUI.

Great idea, I would love to add more ease of life improvements into ReportBuilder like this. Are you aware of the "- All Elements -" option in the Select From List GUI? It should be available in the more recent versions of ReportBuilder.

Hello Eric, Thank you for your comments. If a list is long and I would like to select all except one or more listed items, "Select All" function is convenient, so that I can exclude them after selecting all.

Interesting uidea you present there, and maybe we can modify the GUI to better allow for this in future versions of the tool. My engineering team and I were wondering if you could give us some example use cases where you would could use such a feature. This should allow us to fully develop a specification for the feature you are suggesting.

I would like to use the feature when creating a request that contains Site Sections for which I am responsible, for example. Here are actual steps.

1. Create a request.

Report: "Site Content" > "Site Section"

2. Click "Top 1-10" for "Site Section". Then select "Filter".

3. Select "Specific" > "From list". Then click "Add".

Here, I would like to select all elements, and then exclude some of them in which I am not interested.

I can do the same thing by using mouse and keyboard, but if I scroll down all the way to the bottom of the list quickly, some of elements would not be selected. It seems a limitation or a bug of VBA.

We've modified the code for the selection UI to allow you to easily select all the elements from the list. In the next release, you will be able to Shift+Click and Control+Click to quickly select as many elements as you want, even if you scroll quickly.
