2-Step Verification

Greetings,

I am tasked with turning on 2-Step Verification for 40+ users.  Q:  Is there a way to turn it on (Activate) 2-Step Verification for all users?   I know I can log in and activate it on my settings but, is there an account all on function?

Thanks in advance,

Shawn

Good morning Shawn! My name is Kerry Nelson nice to meet you! So I understand you are looking at 2FA for about 40+ users. Let me see if I can assist you in your question here:

There are 3 different types of IDs that we use in our Cloud product. Diagram below explains what each does.

In this case for 2FA it would use our Adobe ID option. As far as setup is concerned for the setup of how to do this if you want to use this option then its a matter of creation of the users as Adobe ID and then your end users are presented with an option of entering in a mobile number to use this option. Otherwise for existing users they may go to accounts.adobe.com and input a mobile number.

There is not an account all option to perform this its done on a per user (sorry to inform you of this) Also based on the products though that you are using Analytics and AMO Adobe IDs with this combo are your best option as AMO does not support Federated IDs presently. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns that I can answer for you.

Hi Shawn,

Could you tell me on which product you want to turn on 2 step verification so I could tag the right people?

Best,

Tanmay

Hi Tanmay,

It's for everyone who logs into Marketing Cloud.   You can do that?!  Awesome!

Let me get a list together first and then notify those involved of the upcoming change.  I'll be back in touch with you next week.

Thank you,

Shawn

Hi Shawn,

This is not what I meant.

1. I want to know the name of the Marketing Cloud Product you are working on.

2. Please elaborate a bit on what do you refer to as 2 step verification?

Thanks,

Tanmay

Ok.

I'm working on Analytics & AMO.  However, when we log into the Adobe Marketing Cloud all employees are required to use 2-step verification.

This what I'm referring to.  Help section here: Learn how to use 2-Step Verification (also known as 2-Factor Authentication or 2FA) for increased security of your Adobe…

Hello Everyone!

Though its a best practice to have two step authentication process, in case you do not want to be asked again for verification on the same device you can select the option of DOnt ask me again.

Joy!
