I'm having a problem with the ResourceResolver locating a configuration xml file in my local author instance under apps. Despite attempting various approaches, such as specifying relative and absolute paths, the configResource continues to return null for the file resource. Also the ResourceResolver is using a AEM service user account to access the file. Here's the path for CONFIG_FILE_NAME - "/apps/site/config.author/com.mim.aem.core.service.validpaths.impl.ValidPathsServiceImpl.xml";  @9944223 public List<String> getValidPaths() { List<String> validPaths = new ArrayList<>(); try (ResourceResolver resourceResolver = ResourceResolverUtil.getResourceResolver(resolverFactory)) { Resource configResource = resourceResolver.getResource(CONFIG_FILE_NAME); if (configResource != null) { String xmlContent = configResource.getValueMap().get("jcr:content", String.class); ///XML

Hi there, I need to perform a search through Querybuilder on AEM 6.5 leveraging on the asset name. The search must be partialcase insensitiveI have already tried on the node name concatenating %25 at the beginning of my partial value searched and * at the end but it doesn't work.Thank you,Serena

Hi, I wanna get the assets(i.e. using sql2) which is recently uploaded on dam.

AEM 6.5, SPA, Angular 9In the editor and published page via Typescript, I'd like to subscribe to a parent container component from a child component.  If I drag a parent container component on the editor page and then drag a child component so it is inside of the parent container, how can the child get a reference to it's closest parent so it can subscribe to parent changes? When a component is dragged onto the editor page, are there certain Angular-monitored events that are triggered and would help with a solution? Two use cases I'm trying to solve:The parent container has a background color property that is also the background color of any child component.  The child component needs to know what its closest parent's background color is so it can use the appropriate text color. To dynamically build a backend data structure, the child needs to know the ID of its closest parent component.

Hi Adobe CommunityI am researching about AEM capabilities and the impact AEM has on organization and customers. Currently I am able to understand the basic concepts of AEM and how it is implemented. However, with the resources available online, I am unable to find the adequate Real Life Use Cases (Case Studies) of how and what organization uses AEM. Could you kindly share real-life use cases or case studies specifically related to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)? I am eager to learn about how AEM is being leveraged to deliver exceptional digital experiences, optimize content management workflows, or drive measurable business outcomes. If anyone has any sites or resources where I can find these information that would be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards,Sching

Hello Campaigners, I have doubt around the option "Stop as soon as a file has been processed" in file collector anybody can share some insights to this? For me there is no difference between checked and unchecked.  https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/campaign-classic/using/automating-with-workflows/event-activities/file-collector.html?lang=en   The end goal is to figure out the order of files picked by the file collector. Good morning,I have a problem related to the query. I have two environments, one local and one production with the same "content" and "applications". When I run the query, shown below, from the "Query" tools on the "/crx/de/index.jsp" page using the admin account on the local machine it extracts all the data, when I repeat the query in production on the same data and with the admin account it extracts only a subset of the data. The query is as follows: SELECT * FROM [nt:base] AS node WHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE([/content/myproject/pages/]) AND (node.[sling:resourceType] = 'myproject/components/structure/page' ) How can I align production behavior with local behavior ? Thank you.

Will I receive mail from Adobe regarding the selected semi-finalist for the challenge or was there any meeting conducted to announce?

I want to create an XT activity and personalize content for those who have not registered for upcoming events. How can I create that audience? How would I know if I want to do it via Analytics that which visitor has registered or who has not registered? If this is possible via profile script then what it will look alike?

works great. However, I am unable to create an editable notes field to a task report. If I bring the project status notes field into the task report it's not editable nor does it serve any purpose except to display the last status note made to the project. We are currently working in the New Experience. Thanks, Kathy

Hello, new to adobe! Appreciate the help.I'd like to build a segment that finds visits where: (1) a link was NOT clicked and (2) there was a page view to 1 of 2 pages. So far I've created a segment that looks like the below, but its not returning any results. I know there should be results included. Main Container: Visit> Sub Container: Visit > link tracking 'does not contain' link nameAND> Sub Container: Visit > Page Name 'equals' Page Name 1 OR Page Name 'equals' Page Name 2 Has anyone ran into this before? Thanks!

Hello community,  I have a client that have a site built on Next.js. It has tealium IQ as the tag manager and a datalayer already setup with page variables that are updated on each view change without a full page reload. Recently, they want to add Adobe Target to the web. I am struggling on how to add mbox parameters every time the view (page) changes as there is no page reload and the adobe.target.triggerView() function only accepts the viewName as arguments and no params can be added to the function.  I have seen on other React like websites that with every "notifications" request (each time the triggerView is executed) the mbox params like page_category or profile params are updated without a full page reload or a target-global-mbox call.  How can I achieve here the same behaviour? Thanks a lot!

While logging into Workfront, I'm encountering the error message "No account associated with the email address." However, this account still has planner access in Workfront, as I've confirmed while using the administrator account.

Need to add a new typehead option into my template Overview section of an existing template. Anyone know how? Thanks!

Hi Team, I have few path and resource based servlets. For path based servlets, the path starts with localhost:4502/bin/test/v1/<identifier>. Is exposing /bin to the end user is a problem? If yes, why so since /bin/test/v1 is not a valid resource in AEM. In my case I want to mask this /bin/test/v1/<identifier> with a proxy. This proxy will be called in client side and I want to write rewrite rules for this proxy to execute actual servlet API i.e. /bin/test/v1/<identifier> is it best way  For resource based servlets the path starts with localhost:4502/content/test/..../..selector.extension. I am also masking this content path with a proxy, client will call this proxy and I will redirect the request to actual servlet API.  Is writing apache rewrites is better for this use case or is there any other approach like sling resource mapping? Thanks.

Hi Team,I have published few content from author and it is available to publish instance.now I have removed the content from author and I need to get the same content which is available in publish instance. How to get the content back to author? Thanks @lukasz-m  @kautuk_sahni

Hi All, Is it possible to display two different color bars (red and green) based on the percent change value? The bar should be red if the percent change is negative WoW and green if the percent change is positive WoW. Currently, the chart displays only one color (please see the attached screenshot). Thanks,S Kala

We are running on AEM as a cloud service and Adobe recommends updating the SDK to the latest version every month. However, I would like to know if it's also recommended to update the SDK version in the pom.xml file every month? Also, will there be any potential chances of the existing functionalities (either OOTB or custom development) to break as a repercussion of updating the SDK version in pom.xml?

Hi everyone, I am using AEMaaCS, I created a servlet to receive POST calls with multipart-form to upload assets through REST API: @Component(service = Servlet.class, property = { ServletResolverConstants.SLING_SERVLET_METHODS + QueryConstants.EQUAL_SYMBOL + HttpConstants.METHOD_POST, ServletResolverConstants.SLING_SERVLET_PATHS + QueryConstants.EQUAL_SYMBOL + "/apps/uploadAssetForApproval", "sling.auth.requirements"+ QueryConstants.EQUAL_SYMBOL + "-/apps/uploadAssetForApproval"})@ServiceDescription("Asset Upload Form servlet")public class AssetUploadFormServlet extends SlingAllMethodsServlet Once submitted, the file will be stored in a customized DAM folder, the folder will be dynamically created by AssetManager, the code I am using is: private String createAsset(ResourceResolver resourceResolver, InputStream is, String path, String fileName, String fi

Hi there, I've found a lot of posts and info on this but nothing very recent, and I can't get it to work with any of the methods I've tried.Does anyone know if this is still supported by SFDC? Is anyone actively doing it and able to share their webhook info?Thank you!

I have a form with two master pages, the first has a header, content and footer and the second has a header and content part (the header is different from the first page). This footer must only appear on the first page, without repeating on the others and be able to break the page in case of very long text (or have a dynamic size, where it is possible to increase and decrease according to the size of the text). The problem I'm having is that leaving the footer on the master page does not allow line wrapping and when I leave the "expand to fit" option checked, it ends up "cutting" the field, as it expands downwards and there is no more space. I would like to know how, if any, I could be resolving this problem? The current structure is:- Master pages- Subform header- Content area- Subform footerIn the footer subform:- Text (title of 'block')- Table with 1 line- Line1- Table with 1 line- Line1- Two tables:- Table 1: Header line and body line,- Header line: field title- Body line: footer te

Hi Everyone,I'm working on AEM 6.5 and faced below issue, and thanks for the help in advance. So here is the situation:Let's assume there is an author A who has authored a page and locked it. I am an author B who is impersonated as admin. Now I'm trying to edit a particular component on that page. That component is associated with a servlet which changes node name based on the input in the component. In that servlet, there is a logic which unlocks that page path, modifies the node name and then locks it again. In normal situation it is working fine as expected but as soon as I impersonate as admin and try to make some changes it throws the exception javax.jcr.lock.LockException: Not an owner of the lock So, what can be the reason and solution for this problem?
