Why won't the custom script in my data element execute?

Why do I see '_satellite is not defined' in my console?

We are testing this tool and it works so fine but I have some doubts.1. Versioning and rollback. I see a publishing history but I only have access to the current version of tags. Is not there a tag version history available?2. How can I do tag scheduling? This option is always unchecked by default when I create a new property.3. How works the Tracking cookie for opt-out status for receiving other cookies?4.  How the custom code within the Adobe Analytics rule builder interface works? I´ve tried to populate products variable from there (as its not available through interface) but it didn't work. I had to custom all the code like a Javascript/Third Party Tag.5. Event List in the Adobe Analytics rule builder is out of date. Currently there're 100 events available in a report suite and the list only includes 75.Thanks in advance

Why do I get 'File not found.' when I click on my DTM library?

I see a JavaScript error in my console when I load dynamic tag management.

Can I deploy my DTM libraries asynchronous?

Why won’t my third party /custom script trigger when my page load rule fires?

I am trying to set a rule to fire only when a <p> with the id of "ApplyFormError" shows, i'm using the enters viewport condition but it seems like the rule is firing before the element show.not when the element actually appears in the pageI want to know if my settings are correct? or if i should try a different thing???

Can the DTM embed code be placed on the site in another way? Can we leave out the DTM footer code?

I’m not seeing any rules fire, why?

How do I set more than one value for the Campaign variable 'query param'?

Are data elements processed based on the tags using them or are they processed at a specific time on the page? For example, a data element using custom JS is configured to pull a text value from an HTML <A> tag that isn’t available until the middle of the <body> tag.  If I have a tag that fires in the head and another that fires in at the closing body, will the header tag not include that data element but the footer tag would?

Where do we look when data is not populating the report suite, but we see calls going out in Digital pulse?   Could there be an issue with the JS file?

While hosting the JS via Amazon, we're getting a 403 "forbidden" error on our JS file — so  SiteCatalyst via DTM is not working on our site. Any idea what could be causing this?

We're trying to launch dynamic tag manager and the URL string is not being fed to Analytics. The only page showing up is "Other" and I can not find anywhere to trouble shoot this. Needing the URL so we can name the pages. Thanks!

Hi,Started to use DTM with SiteCatalyst. Just testing on one report suite and let’s see how it works. At this point not really sure do we need the tag management. The setup with SiteCatalyst was quite easy to do and now my suite is collecting data ok. Now the real works aka tagging starts and lots of newbie questions in my mind. Let’s start with the first one.I would like to save friendly name to SiteCatalyst (s.pageName). I could use the url path for this. If we have over 100 pages on our site then it would be really time consuming to make rule (to pageName) for every page. What would be the correct/easiest thing to do this with only one rule/script, possible? For example, http://www.example.com page name could be “/”. http://www.homepage.com/category/cars/ page name would be “category/cars” so I want always save the folder path to s.pageName.Thanks for all the help.

We are having some difficulties using the Custom Page Code for Adobe Analytics in a Page Load Rule. The general setup is as follows:    - A fresh s_code is hosted with DTM (Managed).     - The Load order for this general Adobe Analytics tag is set to bottom, as its dependent on DOM elementets (tracking object = s). Now we want to assign an action to a specific page, fx. a product view. For this we create a new Page Load Rule (Load Order = Bottom of page), and because DTM currently does not support the s.products in the UI, we are going to write the behavior in the Custom Page Code under the Adobe Analytics tab. However, the data assigned to the s object in this script, is not send with the pageView tracking - in fact, it is not visible at all. Using the predefined fields in the UI (eVar, prop events, etc.) data is perfectly send with the pageView tracking - the error only occurs using the Custom Page Code. Using the debugger - _satellite.setDebug(true) - it seems like the Page Load Rul

Noticed that there are 75 events available on the dropdown of SiteCatalyst events. Is this a bug or don't I understand something? You should be able to use 100 different events and eVars we should have only 75.

If user goes to url that doesn't exist and then the browser gets status code 404 error aka page not found. If that happens, I would then like to save "errorpage" to s.pageName and the status code "404" to eVar5. Any ideas which would be the easiest or the best way to do this with dynamic tag management? I didn't see any rules for status codes in the "page load rules" section. Do I have to again (!) make some kind of custom script? Thanks for all the help.

Hey Guys,Do you have any documentation I can get to understand a little bit better how to implement tags with the DTM ?I really appreciate the help!!regards!Yabagna

Hello,We have Site Catalysts fully functional across enterprise applications. We want to migrate to DTM.I have couple of questions:1. Should the Data Layer be created in the Tag Manager Interface by defining various data elements that we access from the page OR should the data layer be part of the application (as JSON Object)?2. Assuming Data Layer is created in the application, where should it be created? In the Header, Footer, or start / end of the body tag? Please note that this data layer will contain Global Variables (which fires on every page), page specific variables and variables that will be populated based on User Actions.Do we have any documentation for best practices or any good article?Appreciate your help.Sameer Khaladkar.

I'm having trouble using a Data Element to set the value of an item that may exist multiple times on a page but have different data. Basically I'm trying to know which item someone clicked on when there are a number of items on the page. Within the custom code section of the Adobe Analytics sections I'm able to execute the kind of custom code shown below to return the value I'm looking for (on our site we have a page full of listings, each one with a button to get to the specific listing, and data about each listing is contained within the <li> tag a few levels up from the actual link).var listing = $(this).parents('.listing').data(); var s = arguments[1]; s.eVar22 = listing.zoneMapId;However, I'm not able to put that kind of code within a Data Element. I'm only able to get a Data Element to return the data for the first instance on the page, but the not the data for the instance that I have click on. Am I just missing something in regards to how custom code needs to be written i

Hi all,We are implementing SiteCatalyst with Dynamic Tag Manager and not able to connect it to SiteCatalyst.we are working from ODC for the client and our dev/stage environments on private network.on clients live domain is active and working fine with older version of the SiteCatalyst implementedDynamic Tag Manager is connected and rules are fired however the page views and values provided are not shown on Adobe Digital DebuggerPlease need views on possible reasons to get connected with SiteCatalyst using DTM Dynamic Tag ManagerDilip

Hello,I have create numerous data elements based on JS objects on our pages.  When these objects are set with the value "null", DTM passed in the Data Element name into SiteCatalyst.  How do I stop this?  If the value is "null", I'd like DTM to not do anything with that object.  But there is no easy "condition" setup to use.  I am no developer so I can't create a custom script to do it.  That's what DTM is for. :)  Any help is appreciated. Thanks

We have a number of funnels that use .aspx and so have the same URL for a bunch of pages.  How do I go about setting up a different page name to fire for each of them as it loads? Here's a publicly accessible URL for one: https://www.sharebuilder.com/sharebuilder/retirementcenter/InvestmentSelector.aspx
