Hi ,I am trying to send a DAM Asset rendition as an attachment via mail.I am sending mails using org.apache.commons.mail.HtmlEmail package.If i use the below codeEmailAttachment attachment = new EmailAttachment();attachment.setURL(new URL("http://localhost:4502/content/dam/geometrixx/new.jpg");attachment.setDisposition(EmailAttachment.ATTACHMENT);attachment.setDescription(assetName);attachment.setName(assetName);email.attach(attachment);i am getting the error org.apache.sling.auth.core.impl.SlingAuthenticator getAnonymousResolver: Anonymous access not allowed by configuration - requesting credentials If i use File assetRendition = asset.adaptTo(File.class);DataSource datasource = new FileDataSource(assetRendition); email.attach(datasource,"Image Name","Image Desc");I am getting null pointer exception.If anyone has already used , please let me know how to resolve this. Thanks in advanceHarish

Hi all, I integrated the login mechanism of a CQ5 site to use the Websphere Commerce authentication, so the profiles of the users of my CQ5 site lives on Websphere Commerce, now I want that to feed the "Client Context" component with that data (User profile information on Websphere Commerce). At this moment I got an API to retrieve from Websphere Commerce the profile information of the current user logged into my CQ5 site, but my question is how I can override and set the correct data (Websphere Commerce data) into the cookies used by the the "Client Context" component ? Any idea of when and how the Client Context cookie "SessionPersistence" is created ?

Are different Cloud Service Configurations (/etc/cloudservices) allowed per runmode?For example, if one wanted to use the Generic Analytics Snippet and use one snippet for author mode (tracking data to "testing" analytics account), and a different snippet for publish mode (tracking data to "production" analytics account), is that supported through the config.author or config.publish constructs used elsewhere?If not, is there a recommended practice for implementation of this? My actual implementation utilizes a custom service configuration and configuration page, so I am able to create a custom solution if necessary.

The main requirement is to identify all transitive dependencies on a page and disallow the authors of those dependencies from reviewing the page.I have broken the requirement into smaller parts and trying to the do the following1) Get a list of all the links on a page (can be links to assets/pages) - How to get this list? I tried using AssetReference API but it does not give list of associated pages on a page, also it does not give list of any asset that you might have set using a composite field2) Determine who all have worked on all those related assets/pages - Using audit log I can determine the data for a page but not for an asset. For asset I am trying to use activity manager, but the activity manager is not providing the data for activities of user other than admin. For a user I can see activity folder created and see all the activities from CRXDE but I am unable to retrieve the data for that user.3) Accordingly apply business rule to see if the same person can review the workflo

Hi.I am new user of Adobe CQ .There is a question about displaying components in different browser.I have developed components, using IE9,and the other one has written CSS, using Chrome and FireFox(latest ver.).We use same author instance.(AEM ver 5.6.1)After completion of following steps, the problem occurs: 0: Create a page component.1: Include parsys in JSP which render the page component.2: Put a product component which cq eCommerce add-on has on parsys3: Check the component displayed in IE94: Check the component displayed in FireFox and Chrome(latest ver.)the problem is that in Chrome and FireFox, the product component wasn't displayed,while in IE9 the product component was displayed.Is there any rule that we have to follow or any tips  when we put product component on parsys in Chrome or FireFox?Regards,Yazawa

I'm running CQ 5.4 and successfully integrated with AD via LDAP with the following settings:com.day.crx.core.CRXLoginModule sufficient;com.day.crx.security.ldap.LDAPLoginModule requireduserRoot="CN=ABC,OU=hello,DC=world"As long as the user is a member of the ABC group, he can sign in and their user is then created in the CRX. If I then remove the user from ABC group, however, they can still login. I understand that CRXLoginModule is set to sufficient, but I thought LDAPLoginModule takes precedence due to "required" setting. Of course, once I delete the user in the CRX, the user can no longer login.Is this normal behavior, or should a user not be able to login?Thanks.

Can I build a commerce web site using AEM?

In particular, while at the moment I can define a listener like this:<linkDialogConfig>  <listeners    jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured"    show="function() { MyNamespace.myChangeListener(); }"/>I cannot define it like this:<linkDialogConfig>  <listeners    jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured"    show="MyNamespace.myChangeListener"/>Is there a way to just pass the function literal rather than having to wrap it inside a function() { } expression?

We're trying to export as much configuration info to our source control system as we can. Generally we use vlt to export the appropriate crx nodes.  However, we are stuck on packages.  As far as I can tell, the package definitions are stored under /etc/packages/group/package.zip/jcr:content/vlt:definition.  The problem is that the built package itself is "package.zip", which we don't want to export and put in source control, just the definition (name, description, filters, etc); and vlt doesn't seem to want to exclude a directory but include children of that directory. How can we export the package definition but not the actual package?

Hi,Let's assume that I have create an OSGi Service in AEM and I have set its sling.servlet.paths property to '/bin/testservice'. Assuming that this service is active and the AEM instance is running, how do I call this service and obtain the service response from a Java snippet that is running on my local system(outside the AEM server)? Thanks in advance

How do you auto crop an uploaded image?  I see that there are workflow steps and it seems there might be a couple that can create new assets, but where is the documentation for that?  Also, how do you set the auto crop aspect ratio for the html4image widget?

What is an OSGi bundle?

Has anybody else seen this problem in CQ5.5? Create some custom Metadata settings using these instructions: Create /apps/dam/content/asseteditors/formitems (copy the form from/libs/dam/content/asseteditors/formitems).Add a new control and set the name to ./namespace:property e.g, ./dam:Example.Save your changes. After saving, all CQ DAM users can view and edit this property. When I upload an asset to the DAM, I only see the new metadata setting if I disable the default workflow launcher "DAM Update Asset" If it is enabled then I can only see the default metadata. Is this a bug? I see that Service Pack 2.1 has some DAM fixes, but I have not had a chance to see if it addresses this issue. Thanks

How can I query data from the JCR?

Is there a way to have multiple smartimage widgets in a single dialog? Specifically I'm struggling with the requestSuffix parameter. Most of the other ones I can adapt to get the second widget to save its info to a different location from the first, but I can't see how to do that with requestSuffix. If the values are the same for both widgets, then once an image is selected, I see the same image in both tabs of the dialog. If I change it to something like /image2.img.png, it's no longer hitting the component as the resource. If I change it to .image2.img.png, the script handling this selector appears to break. I might be able to change that script, but that doesn't seem like it'll be a very flexible approach. Any other options? I'm in CQ 5.4 if that matters.

I was able to successfully create a touchpoint for my teaser using -http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/wcm/campaigns.html#Creating%20a%20Touchpoint%20for%20your%20Teaser. The problem I am having is that when i re-open this OOB teaser component on the authoring page it does not show any of the the three values that were set to make it work. My page has the campaign and the content and is displays correctly (everything still works) but it is a bad User experience for author's to not being able to see back the values that they have set on teaser component.Am I missing something or is this a bug in cq 5.6.1?
