We recently upgraded to AEM 5.6, which caused our build to stop working. We've been able to get the builds up and running based on Adobe's multimodule-content-package-archetype, but they don't seem to work at all when installing our app into CQ from Windows.The build seems to be working fine, but on the very last line of the build we get the following error on Win 7:[INFO] --- content-package-maven-plugin:0.0.20:install (install-content-package) @myApp ---[INFO] Installing myApp-components (~/Documents/myApp/myApp-components/target/myApp-components-0.0.2-SNAPSHOT.zip) to http://localhost:4502/crx/packmgr/service.jsp[ERROR] Request failed:com.day.jcr.vault.packaging.PackageException: java.lang.IllegalStateException:folder handler did not accept /apps/myApp/components/pages/global.jspx(500) Is there something that needs to be configured to install a .jspx file? This is the only jspx file that I know of in our build.

I was wondering if anyone have been experiencing login verification issues when trying to integrate SiteCatalyst with CQ5.5Lately, I have issues doing so. The credentials are correct and works if used on SiteCatalyst. Web Services component was turned on for that account.However when the login credentials were entered into CQ5.5, verification wasn't successful.What could be the cause of it?

Is there a way to resize an image using the com.day.cq.wcm.foundation.Image class?  I wanted to extend the foundation image componet and have it resize to a specific height and width.  Is there a way to change the size of the image before you call image.draw(out) ?

What is AEM's JCR?

I am accessing JCR resource as site/page/jcr:content/par/text.6.json  and obviously works well on author and publish.finally i enabled it in dispatcher  /0086 { /type "allow"  /glob "GET *.*[0-9].json*" } so first time when folder not created under webcache it serves json on browser but if access 2nd time, it says 403 error. again if i delete site/page folder under webcache it works but not 2nd time.I have also tried in directory to get it working with no help.<Directory "C:/Program Files (x86)/IBM/HTTPServer/htdocs/webcache">     <IfModule disp_apache2.c>       SetHandler dispatcher-handler       ModMimeUsePathInfo On     </IfModule>             Allow from allI added mime type AddType application/json .json in httpd conf but no help.I am sure this silly stuff but not hitting my head... please advice.

Hi,I would like personalize content based on user profile like if the user profile property has “role = primary” , it will show some content related to primary role. And if the user profile property has “role = secondary” , it will show some content related to secondary role.To do this, I have created two different user names under “/home/users” and created property name called role under “profile node”.The thing here is when I create segments I could not see that role property in ‘profile property component’ which I created under “/home/users/user1/profile”.  It profile property component has only “Gender, Age, Interest, Country, Language”. What if I need to have role property in that drop down list?Could you please tell where I need to configure it?Additional my goal is to display a content based on user profile. Am I in correct path or going in correct way? If not please guide to achieve this functionary in cq5.Thanks,Anderson

I am trying to reference the DesignCache service from within my own service. However, when I reference the DesignCache service my own service does not show/get registered. I see nothing in the log. The bundle starts and is Active but the service does not show. If I remove the DesignCache reference the service is registered and shows. Hi AllWe have a new client requirement , How to replicate between  'Author'  and 'Author' environment in CQ5 ?  How can be this done ?.  Is there a business case for this ?. We frankly feelthis user requirement cant be done. Please give us your advice. RegardsVikram

We have created a site in cq with parent node as en_gb and try to use spell checker in richtext editor but it fails. Looking into the debug logs, it is looking for a dictionary as  en_gb_en_gb which does not exists and hence the spell checker does not work. Debugging further we found that the logic written in SpellCheckServlet & LanguageUtil seems to be incorrect as it returns language as en_gb & country also as en_gb rahter it should be lan= en & country = gb. However, spell checker documentation says The spelling checker will operate in the language of the website by taking either the language property of the subtree or extracting the language from the URL; i.e. the en branch will be checked for english, the de branch for german. But both seems to fail. Please suggest if there is something wrong in what I am doing or it is a bug in CQ?
