We have an app built with Phone Gap that we have been trying to tag with Adobe Analytics, mostly using Processing Rules. How should we be tracking the Cart Abandonment Rate?

HiI was wondering if someone could tell me what the prop60 variable is/does and where it is set? I was also wondering how to get my information to send to the right reporting suite? I believe it is by setting the prop13 variable but I do not know where to set it? ThanksShane

I run a weekly SAINT Classifcation file for our Campaigns.  I have noticed over the last 4-months several of the query string IDs that I have already classified are showing up on the report each week.  Has anyone else experienced this happening where the variable you have already classifed continues showing up in the Browser Export file through Classification Importer?

I am new to Adobe Analytics and I need to access page views and metrics for only a particular (country specific) web site and not all the global data. I have instructions for the older version of SiteCatalyst which tell me to add a segment for page views in order to narrow the data down to the country site I need, but in the sc15 version I can't figure out how to do this, as "page view" isn't an option when creating a segment. Any help would be appreciated!

has anyone been able to selectively fire one or both report suites per rule on one web property ?I always seem to get a report suite firing every time even if its not set to send data to.

Hi,Mobile -> Devices path I can find "Unknown Generic Windows RT Tablet" users and I guess these are Surface users, but if I have understood correctly there could be also other operating systems (win 8, win 8.1) that are used with Surface, right? If the answer is yes, then where could I find all the Surface users? There isn't a single and easy stat for Surface users only? Any ideas how I could correlate data to get the information?Not a critical issue for us, but always want to learn when I can't answer directly to questions that I get asked. :)        

I was wondering if anyone can give me some insight- Do I need to enter data for these: s.pageName=" ", s.Server=" ", s.channel=" ". etc. or if I just leave it as " ", will I get basic metrics. Any thought? Thanks!Drew

Hi,After big updated in SiteCatalyst, there are many difference from previous version, I know.And I'd like to know there is situation in segment of Report Builder.I wonder why the different display appears in the report builder and Ad hoc even they are in the same segment.One display has a container red background(meaning "excluding") but the other has not(meaning "including").I would like to know how to recover.Regards,Tomo

Hi,i requested a datawarehouse report with the breakdowns "Time spent on Page" and "Pages" and the metric "Page Views".As a result i get a report in the way i expect, but there is an additional Group for the dimension "time spent on page", wich is called "Group K: Last page view in date range".Can someone explain me this "last page view in date range" to me please, i don´t find an explanation in the help-space.Kind regards,Ilse

Hey Experts!! I write to you with a specific problem that has been taking over my mind since days now. I have tried to troubleshoot it and look at it from various angles but i am unable to find the answer. I know it is not right but cannot pinpoint the root of the issue. My client is in the industry of education , it is a university to be precise. As per SiteCatalyst , the maximum conversions(form submits) are happening in visit number 1 . This seems very odd to me , since the conversion cycle for an education provider would be more than first visit by a prospect. One usually does some comparison shopping between universities before one decides to pay an application fee.  The visit number is based on the visitor id  so i checked the s_vi cookie for this client(which is a first party cookie) and it is persisting since the first visit , so its not really dropping a  new cookie every time. We have an ancient VISTA rule which populates our Tracking Code report.  It records plenty of referrals from Yahoo which appear as 'search.yahoo.com' in the Tracking Code report.  However these do NOT appear in the Referring Domains report or other referrer reports.  For example, in August the Tracking Code report showed 4,000 click-throughs from search.yahoo.com, but the Referrers report only recorded 611 of those.  The remaining 3,400 click-throughs weren't shown AT ALL in the referrers report, which implies they were seen as Internal Referrals.   This is supported by our Marketing Channels report which showed over 2,000 visits in the Internal Referrals report which the Tracking Code report said came from 'search.yahoo.com'.Has anyone else noticed this behaviour?  Is our VISTA rule somehow hiding the true referrer?  Maybe there's some kind of instant redirect or reload which the VISTA rule somehow ignores, but which stops the standard Referrer reports from seeing the initial yahoo.co

While creating a segment to measure traffic of Visitor with 10+ visits , I figured using Visit Number as a criteria will work. It does, however then I also see Visits in the event as a possible criteria. Unable to comprehend what does it mean when I use Visits event with >= 10  vs Visit Number >= 10.  Please share your thoughts ? 

I'm designing a "one page" internal website with multiple stories all under one IP address. All the stories have anchors so you can get to them trough the navigation. Is there a way to add code to make the anchors visible to Adobe Analytics when people scroll to to the next story?  

We have an ecommerce site that allows customers to create their own site and sell on their site a variety of our brands.  We want to capture the amount of instances a brand is used on different sites. We want to capture that brand individually, not as a string. So for example:Brands    InstancesBrand A    34Brand B    29Brand C    25etc... NOT:Brand A, Brand C    22Brand A, Brand B, Brand C    21etc. For the sprop, I got this to work using a comma delimiter, but this has not worked for the evar. Does anyone know how I could do this for the evar? Do I need to change the code or is there a way to do this from the Site Catalyst end? Thanks,

Hello,I've been trying Adobe Marketing Cloud support (without any success - as Customer Care sections logs me out of Adobe Analytics) to get Data Warehouse enabled for one of my Report Suite. In the company we have Data Warehouse contracted and enabled for our main Report Suite.As I have no clue how to contact support (even though I've always been supported user for the company I represent) I've started to search for an option to enable Data Warehouse. Unfortunately I haven't found one yet. So I have a question. Is there a possibility for Adobe Analytics administrator to enable Data Warehouse? Or contacting Client Care is a must?Any reponse is highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

We have a website that we are migrating to DTM and have decided not to move all the variable-setting page code into DTM. It appears to be skipping anything that is an s object outside the s_code that is hosted within DTM. Has anyone seen this before or can anyone offer any thoughts as to why it isn't setting those variables that are in the page code?Thanks,Chad 

Hi. We are using Version 15 and are trying to get data regarding time viewed for each of the videos.  The site is low volume -- with about 100K unique visits per month.  If I look at the "Video Time Viewed Report" for a given day (July 1), the recorded time I'm getting is... "3090117321315:21:24" -- which is clearly not correct (even as seconds).  Anyone able to provide thoughts as to why this might be happening? Thanks,George

We have a desktop application where we are integrating the appMeasurement library in for tracking. Our QA found a problem where our login dialog isn’t being displayed on our Windows Desktop Sync app on Windows 7 and Windows Vista OS’s which only have .NET 4.0 installed.  we did some testing on a Windows 7 VM and found that the problem is related to Adobe Analytics.  When we attempt to display our login dialog we call TrackPageViewEvent and this is causing a problem when only .NET 4.0 is installed.  Here’s what we’re seeing:  - .NET 4.0 installed and Adobe Analytics is enabled —> login dialog doesn’t display- .NET 4.0 installed and Adobe Analytics is disabled —> login dialog displays- .NET 4.5.1 installed and Adobe Analytics is enabled —> login dialog displaysWe looked on the Adobe website but didn’t see anything in the .NET documentation related to the .NET version that the AppMeasurement_DotNET.dll requires.  So what needs to be done to use to the AppMeasurement_DotNET.dll wi

I am facing a major issue between the number of clicks being recorded on AdWords Vs. the number of Visits being recorded on Omniture. I know for a fact that there will always be a minor discrepancy in data because during the same visit, a user might have clicked on the Ad more than once. However, I am facing a major discrepancy in data where for instance when AdWords has recorded 377,000 clicks, only 90,000 visits are being recorded on Omniture. This is causing a lot of trouble from the client's side because they feel that we are not driving enough traffic. All my campaigns are tagged properly, and I can even see them from the tracking code section on Omniture. Please advise.

Hi This page is driving me mad. It sometimes fires in Chrome and IE11, but far from always.
