hello,we got AEM to power our next site and we are/were using Sharepoint.One thing that's missing in AEM from sharepoint is the backoffice. So lets say you need some records that needs to be shown as link or 1 record out of them to be shown on a page (massaged with extra data) etc.I think AEM doesn't provide you a way to write data in database column format, I mean you can do that & i do understand the JCR structure, what i wanted to know if i have author just filling in the blanks for data to be stored in JCR , i would have to create a page (Without components or with it) for data entry. I am taking a look at the example to use for storing customer record in JCR  https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/persisting-cq-data-java-content1.htmlThe example shows how to persist data in JCR. is there any other way out of the box to do that in AEM.I think we might have many unique data repositories like that, wanted to know if there is an easier way or  is there already a package

Hi,I noticed today that we've started getting a snippet called Bombora loading on our website all of a sudden. I've confirmed it's not from any other tool we use to via a process of elimination (and based on the fact that they claim they do demographic and intent data), I'm assuming it's Marketo related.Can anyone provide more data on what this is and where it came from?Thanks,Andy

I am wondering how I would go about creating a campaign with one email going to a list. But some of the sentences will change depending on the location of the lead. For example, a lead in NJ receiving an email at 12pm, will have a sentence that says: I hope you have a great afternoon!While a lead in CA receives the same email at 9am, but instead their sentence will say: Good Morning, hope you're day is off to a great start!and so on....Is this possible?  If so, how?Thanks

I'm looking at opening up a Salesforce to Salesforce connection to share a selected subset of records between two Salesforce deployments within the same company—but one of my primary outcomes is to enable these shared records to enter the Marketo ecosystem, since one of the two orgs has an active Marketo deployment. The Marketo-connected Salesforce org would be the master in the relationship. When such records are shared, does this cause any issues with those records being in Marketo as well? In theory it seems like it should be a non-issue, but I was curious if there are any gotchas to watch out for.For the record, the Salesforce org that is not currently connected to Marketo/the child org would not need MSI.

Team,We would like to show very specific recommendations on the cart page based on a product(s) in the customer's cart.For example, we would like to have many of if/then configurations like:If a "#2 Pencil" is in a customer's cart then show the "White Eraser".Is this possible? If so, can you help point me in the right direction?It seems that if it is possible I would do so with a custom attribute (see attachment). Hi, when I trigger an s.t call using a direct call rule to set a specific pagename I'm getting two server calls from the same page, one from the regular library and one from the direct call. How can I just set the pageName variable using the direct call so that when the rest of the tool runs I only track 1 page view but with the correct pagename? I'm thinking we can just leverage the custom script on the direct call rule to set s.pageName="XYZ"; and have it solved, but its not working.

Is there a way to configure an Email Performance Report to show data on HTML vs Text versions of emails? It would be useful to know how many people are receiving our text versions and how they perform vs HTML. Any way to do this in Marketo?

Hi marketing friends,I recently tried to include multiple "Campaign is Requested" triggers in single Smart Campaigns, and one in particular is causing a headache:I want a Smart Campaign to be available for request that adds a lead as a member of our early-stage engagement/nurture program. I want this request to be available from Sales Insight (when Sales identifies a new lead or partner that may be outside our predefined target demographic) AND from a Marketo Flow Step (for certain Marketing Captured Leads, for instance). I tried adding two "Campaign is Requested" triggers (one for Sales Insight, another one for Marketo Flow Step, since I can't select multiple sources) into my smart list, and I got the blinking-red-light-bulb-of-doom.Am I not able to have both triggers in one campaign? For now, I cloned the campaign and have one for MSI and one for the Flow Step, but I like to limit the number of trigger campaigns when possible.

Hi, I want to use the 'Save a Draft Email' functionality from Geometrixx Finance. I've copied over the respective JS, the workflow and the ecma script that triggers a call to com.adobe.aem.geometrixx.finance.NewsletterUtil. This java class puts out a request to search for 'authorizables' with the email address which was entered into the form - http://localhost:4502/bin/security/authorizables.json?filter=myEmail@com - The search seems to only work for already existing users (e.g Aaron McDonald) but the search comes back empty when I either add a new user with the email or if I change the email address of an existing user. Does anyone know why and how I can make this work? What exactly does the triggered servlet do? Which AEM package contains this servlet in order to have a look?Any help is very appreciated. Thanks, Alex

Hi all — Has anyone ever used a trigger and/or filter to perform an action based upon a specific SFDC campaign type?Here's the scenario: added to SFDC campaign (type=Event), data value changes, update member status (type=Event) to specific a value. Hi Community,This morning we noticed a number of records showing bizarre activity where large volumes of fields went through Change Data Value updates from [null] to [xyz value]. Edit: this is actually affecting all of the records on account objects from what we've seen, not just a small group. This is not affecting lead records at all. Even stranger is that these same fields went through the same exact Change Data Value updates for three consecutive days beginning on Saturday, March 26th. We cannot see how or why these values keep being set to null, as this data value change is not shown in Marketo's activity log.For example, the screenshots below are from one contact and you can see that the same fields are being changed over and over again from null to the value on their SFDC record. There is no activity of the field being set back to null, only the field being set to the SFDC value. Hi,I am using facebook social login feature to enable users to be able to add a comment using the comments component of AEM Communities. However, I see few issues:1) Though my name is pulled from facebook and stored in JCR, it does not show against my comment. Only way to show if to edit my profile and add first name and last name.2) I see other user's as "unknown" when I am logged in from Facebook account3) When logged in as admin, I can the userId of all people who have entered a comment.This is very confusing. We are modernizing and consolidating several websites across different domains. Our primary site will change as well (oldsite.org to newsite.com). What is the best approach for transitioning our existing Marketo forms and pages to the new site? Hi all -I'm setting up my first A/B email test using two different subject lines. When I sent myself a sample to make sure tokens filled out, etc, the subject line was still the generic one we originally named the email and not one of the two we put in the A/B test. Is this only because it's just a sample email?Sorry for the potentially very dumb question

I've got an event based rule to track when a user signs up using a form. When I go to Adobe Analytics, the event doesn't show up. Ideally, I'd like to add a name to the custom event as well so that it'd show up as "Free User Registration" in Adobe Analytics.  Am I missing something important in my setup? We see the components that are dragged and dropped in responsive grid parsys can be re-sized using breakpoints in emulator. So how to achieve the same behavior for the components that are cq included in templates ? OR will it only work for components that are dragged and dropped in responsive grid parsys. Is there a way to look at the analytics of the users we send emails to? For example, their browsers, email platforms, desktop vs. mobile, etc.?Thank you!
