Requirements:We want to create two sites. One in AEM and one in asp.net In AEM site we want to create assets and contents(articles or stories with title, detail and assets). Content page uses specific template like Title, Detail, Image, Video etcAsp.net site uses MSSQL which has table with columns like Title, Detail, ImagePath, VideoPath etcNow our requirement is when user create any new Content in AEM site it must be created in ASP.net site. We want to save data from AEM site to ASP.Net site’s database by APISame behavior should happened for delete and update the Contents.If above requirement is possible then how to know content data changed? For example, if I change only title then how can I know title is only changed?If asset is changed in content then how to know which asset changed in content page?Questions:Is above requirement possible?If above requirement is possible then how to know content data changed? I'm trying to assign order credit to channels with the use of a segment & Visit container.The segment reads:VISIT where...Tracking code does not existANDPaid Search equals "Natural"The problem is, tracking codes continue to show up when this segment is applied. I know they persist from visit to visit, but I'm wondering why they exist in this case when the segment attempts to exclude them?Thanks

I am trying to use CommmandLineProcess  step to flip an image using imageMagick commands. Hi,I have this scenario where the approver needs to enter an approval number and check a box if the page has been approved by legal.When this step is completed, the page is activated and the approval number and checkbox value of the legal approval are stored on the jcr:content node of the page. However next time when the workflow is triggered on the same page, I need to show the previously set values here again once the workflow reaches this step.I am able to fetch the current values on the page from a Process Step set previous to this dialog participant step.My question is, where do I set those retrieved values so that the dialog box can pick them and display it on this step?Thanks for your help.

Hey everyone,We just added the ABM Add-On to our instance and I know we now have access to the new filters. I see a filter that says "Member of named account" and we can select "any" as an option. But is there an inverse to this? There is no "Is not member of named account" filter but there is "Was not added to named account". Is this basically the same thing?In practice, I want to create email programs in our nature that only go to unnamed accounts.

We are implementing our first Sling job to ensure a certain task will be processed. The question I have however is how can I monitor the queue e.g. check how deep the queue is or how many jobs have had to be retried or have exhausted there retry count and ideally a log of all those jobs that failed and ran out of retries? I thought about writing a custom health check but was wondering if there is anything built in already?

Hi, We're hosting an open house event next month and would like to include a QR code on each attendee's badge. Ideally we would like the QR code to lead to an internal lead form and be pre-filled out with each attendee's information and just have a comment box for the employee to make notes in. Hi allI am wondering is it necessary to install both a CFP and a service pack? I know a CFP will have prior hot fixes bundled within, but what about service packs?Specifically I am speaking of Cumulative Fix Pack 6.3.0.2 and AEM-6.3-SERVICE-PACK-1. Does the CFP include this service pack?Thanks

Hi All,In one of AEM-SOLR integrations that I have seen, wherein full text search along with property based search is being done. Basically at a very high level, via querybuilder we are getting list of all the page in the system. Based on certain criteria, certain pages are excluced and all of that data is put into SolrInputDocument and that is added to SolrClient[cloud based or whatever].My query is, whatever is the external search engine used, basically we will always be doing something similar.1] Get the required data from AEM.2] Pass it onto the external search engine.So, if there is any evaluation to be done to decide on the external search engine to be used, what is it on AEM end that needs to be considered.Any thoughts on this will be helpful.

Hi All,I am trying to use a instance variable defined in a workflow, in the file name for the Direct Mail extract.Steps Done:1. Defined instance variable in a JS activity in the workflow.2. Used this variable in the delivery variables tab as $(instance/vars/@var1) and named the variable as DelVariable1.3. Used the variable from the delivery parameters in the file Name. <%= variables.DelVariable1 %>The issue is:We are getting an error while executing the delivery: Unable to parse the expression  $(instance/vars/@var1).Can someone suggest anything?Thanks,Subhajit

From I was told that a hit is a service call, it is a image data send. The thing I still feel confuse is, for example,:in DTM, when a page load, I will have a page load rule which will setup bunch of variables, then I will have some special event  or page rules are fired due to the nature of the visit. In this case, for example, when a visitor visit a page, 3 rules fired, then how many hits do we consider? How may image will be send to server.Then if user just click a link, a link click rule will fire, will this be another hit? and another service call / image send? I guess my question is 1 hit is 1 rule fire? or 1 hit can have more than 1 rule fire? How did adobe construct a image call?Thanks

Hi,I wondered if anybody can please advise me.I'm using the standard audio component in 6.2.  In author it works fine, but when published and viewing on the site I get a 'mixed content' error and it doesn't work.All of the other DAM assets work fine and point to https when we link to them from AEM and the sling mappings are working, it just appears to be audio component is auto linking to http.On the page this is the error, in case this helps, which seems to indicate AEM is referencing a rendition in http ?Mixed Content: The page at 'https://xxxxx.html' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure video 'http://xxxxx/content/dam/x/yyy/misc-/aaa.mp3/jcr:content/renditions/cq5dam.audio.aaa.mp3.html '.
