We configured Microsoft Translate Service which is the default service in AEM and we use "Machine Translation" which can be able to translate i18n, Page Metadata. But we want to translate Asset content as well. We just imported text files, ms word file, PDF file but the translate service only translates the asset metadata alone not the asset content.Do I need to configure something to translate the asset content as well or this the limitation. Our main goal is to translate the DITA XML Assets, in the document it says it is possible to translate the asset but we need to enable "Component-Based Translation" in Config Manager. No luck after setting this property as well. Thanks advance if someone gives the solution. 

I have this content hierarchy (see below). If I were to manually drag/drop components before and after the RTE component, the new components also show as before/after the RTE. I want to programmatically add a new node (as an example, a reference component) and I already know how to create new node that as I got existing code I can use as a base. But what I do not know is how make sure it's added before/after the RTE as the order matters. Thanks!

I am looking for help from anyone who has run AEM Communities, on how to best optimize for performance.  An AEM Communities site I am supporting, backed by MongoDB & SolrCloud (MSRP) is running into severe performance constraints.  The performance constraints stem from the sheer number of calls our blog pages are making back to Solr, and I've not found any good way as yet to optimize such. The site primarily uses Communities for blog post likes, comments and comment likes, on which the out-of-the-box components are being used.  The site also uses Communities for user forums.  The issues we're facing here stem from the fact that on an average blog post page with, say, 25 comments on it (10 of which are being displayed, rest are hidden behind comment pagination) as well as 3 post likes, AEM then generates 88 backend calls to Solr.  Minimally, this seems to include:At least one call for every displayed comment (sometimes more)At least one call p

Hi All,Here's my requirement.I have a component which is invoking the servlet via an Ajax call.I would like to get the path of this component's instance under the page in the servlet.If test is the page and comp1, comp2 are the instances of the same component dragged and dropped twice in the parsys called par,I would like to get the path /content/test/jcr:content/par/comp1 in my servlet invoked from comp1, similarly /content/test/jcr:content/par/comp2 for comp2.Alternatively, I am currently achieving this by using the resource HTL Global Object ${resource.path} in the JavaScript which gives the path of the current resource instance and passing it as a request parameter to the servlet.But this is not admissible as I am trying to eliminate any query parameters being passed to the servlet due to caching constraints.Is there a way to get path of the component instance under par which invokes the servlet at the back-end???Please Help!!

Hi, everyone! I am starting to work in AEM and I was required to implement experience fragments functionality on a classic UI project for migration to Touch UI. Currently, I am working with AEM 6.5, I have already created my editable templates configuration under the /conf folder as the official documentation recommends https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/developing/platform/templates/page-templates-editable.html. However I am facing the following problems: 1. None of my layout containers is displaying the option "insert component". 2. When I try to access the "Edit Template" option in Page information icon on my page editor toolbar, it does not redirect me to the corresponding editable template, I mean, nothing happens.3. Hello,We are starting to create Adobe Components. We are in a big company and we're trying to translate web-components into AEM.So for example, on authoring mode, we're binding attributes instead of styles in our component's modal.Is there a way to create a data-set or a system to get those attributes easily instead of redefining them each time ?Thanks for your help.

We are using Adaptive form datepicker is not working on internet explorer 11. Though we enter the date, on submit it does not recognise the date from date picker. This was working fine on AEM 6.4, it started failing in AEM 6.5  

Hello! I have a unique use-case that I've been trying to solve.  We have a public facing website, where we capture an identifier for a user through an email that contains the user ID in the link.  When a user comes to the site through the link, we can capture all future data as being tied to the user through the eVar, but we are unable to tie it to the user in the past if the date range doesn't include when it was set for the user. Is there a way to insert data into an eVar that was previously unspecified in the past that has now been identified?  I've looked at the Data Repair API, and it seems like when it's out of beta could assist here, but I wanted to confirm I wasn't overlooking a simpler approach in the interim. Thanks!

I'm wondering if anybody can help me...   We have an integration setup between our Marketo instance and Zoom Webinars, which was working fine up until recently.   When a lead registers through a Marketo form, where the campaign is synced with the Zoom Webinar campaign, it's setting leads as having a 'Registration Error' as opposed to being just 'Registered' and therefore not sending the lead over to Zoom as it was doing previously.   I know Zoom have made some changes to their integrations since around May, which is pretty much where our issues have begun. When looking into the issue deeper, the Marketo 'reason' for the reg error is that 'job_title is required'. We ask for Job Title in the Marketo form and this is capturing normally - but is clearly not feeding through to Zoom and therefore creating the 'Reg error'.   I've been looking for a way to manually map the fields between Zoom and Marketo to essentially map the Zoom field of 'job_title' and the Marketo field

Hi All, In Adobe target, we have Setup > Hosts > Environments where I can create multiple environments such as "Dev", "Prod" and "Stage". Each of these environments have environment IDs.We are working on using adobe target profile API to update user profiles. However, while uploading data to target with profile API, we want to first use a test environment to upload test data before uploading the final data on the live system. My question is can we use environment ID or environment name with profile API, and use which environment we want to upload the data to? This way we can keep data seperate using profile API.Can anyone please confirm? Regards,Sri

Hi,  Is it possible to use Customer Attribute/People for unauthenticated website? Trying to upload offline data into Customer Attribute and planning to use that in Adobe Target.  Also, can i use Experience cloud ID/Eloqua ID as CRM ID to upload into Customer Attribute to target the users.

We recently did an analysis to find out which products are mostly likely to be purchased together by the site visitors. We want to use this product data to personalize the product page on the website so that we can recommend the products based on our analysis. We are already passing entity id as a mbox parameter on every product page of the website and have uploaded a product catalog as collection. The out of the box criterias used in other activities work fine.For this requirement, we tried using the custom criteria and uploaded the Product IDs(entity.id) as a feed through FTP using the criteria template. Then, we tried using this criteria in the target recommendation. The uploaded custom criteria is visible only on unchecking the compatible box on the criteria selection page. On selecting the criteria, an error is displayed: "Incompatible criteria - An entity id is required for the criteria to work properly.
