Campaign Standard

HiI want to send Email and SMS over http in Adobe Campaign. Beacuse the Email and SMS vendor in our place only support HTTP and the API is private. Is there a way to to do that? What I think is as follow( but it will failed and the JavaScript of Connector was not called):(1) create a new "External Account" with the next general configuration           Type:  Routing          Channel: Email          Delivery mode: External(2) Write a JavaScrpt Connector and set it to the "Connector" of the my "External Account" best regards.

Hi there, im trying to define a schema attribute with a default value. I updated my input form to show this new attribute. The attribute is shown but is blank, the default value did not take into account. This is my attribute tag setting:--FIRST TRY---- <attribute default="50" desc="" label="Offer Validity Days" name="offerValidityDays" type="long"/>--SECOND TRY----<attribute default="1" label="Offer Validity Days 1" name="offerValidityDaysNew"  type="string"/>None of them seems to work. Any advice?

Hi all,I am  trying to export adhoc reports as pdfin a workflow but i am unable to find a correct solution. This solution works for other reports but adhoc. var reportName = "RPT10";var path = "export/report.pdf";var exportFormat = "PDF";isAdHoc = true;//originUrl = "http://XXXX.XXXXX.com/view/adHocReport";originUrl = "http://XXXX.XXXXX.com/xtk/adHocReport.jssp";//originUrl = "http://XXXX.XXXXX.com/xtk/jsp/exportReport.jsp";if( document.__securitytoken ){originUrl += "&__securitytoken=" + document.__securitytoken;}var reportLabel = "Tracking Logs by Category-Test";var _ctx = <ctx _context="global" _reportContext={reportName} __universe="reports" reportId="339421"  _reportLabel ={reportLabel} _originUrl = {originUrl} />;xtk.report.export(reportName,_ctx,exportFormat,path,isAdHoc);I tried passing all possible originUrl(required for adhoc type) but it's not working. Anyone here who have exported adhoc reports?Adhiyan florentlb?Regards,Amit

This is for Neolane v6.0.2 b6836I am currently facing an issue with one of our environment whereby the services try to restart but the web (apache tomcat) service is hanging and not restarting. This is causing 8080 port to be locked to that hanged web service and Catalina is throwing up errors. When this happens we have to manually kill the process or net stop nlserver6. What can we do in this case? here is the complete log [Java] java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind <nu - Pastebin.com Why is the service not restarting? upon some investigation, I think is because requests are still being processed.SEVERE: StandardServer.await: create[8005]: java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_BindSEVERE: The web application [/nl] is still processing a request that has yet to finish. This is very likely to create a memory leak. You can control the time allowed for requests to finish by using the unloadDelay attribute of the standard Context implementation.Tomcat ha

The Adobe Campaign APIs are not designed or intended to be used for bulk inserts into the recipient or any other large volume table in the platform's database.  Instead, the developer  or marketing user should be loading flat files which have been FTP’d to Adobe Campaign server to load any data in bulk. Other options include querying local datamart tables (using mapped tables or FDA) when Adobe Campaign is installed on-premise or use the CRM connector to pull data into the system from other sources in bulk in a technical workflow.  API calls should be used for queries, updates, or one-time inserts into the Adobe Campaign database.  The API should never be used for bulk inserts. If these best practices are not followed, the Adobe Campaign application could experience performance or stability issues and/or loss of service due to improper design of data flows into the system.

Adobe Campaign V6 can be installed in English, French, German or Japanese.Adobe Campaign Standard can be installed in English, French or German. Note that after an instance has been created, you cannot change the language of the instance. The language is set in the instance configuration file's lang attribute when creating the instance. Florent.

You can query most Adobe Campaign schemas using Tools > Generic Query Editor. This is useful for querying the schemas and the database without needing database access, particularly for schemas/objects which don't have a proper Folder or Form configured to access them.See documentation. Florent.

There are a few ways to purge work tables (which hold temporary data for workflows or deliveries, but are commonly but erroneously called "temporary tables").Restart the workflow, whilst making sure the "Keep interim populations" checkbox in workflow properties is uncheckedStop the workflow. Then from the workflow list, select the workflow, right click it and select "Actions" > "Purge History". Be careful, as this will also delete the workflow journal/log too. Also see documentation about database cleanup. Florent.

SymptomRed blinking outline on Query after adding data and computing an aggregate, e.g. Sum, Count, Max. Display logs shows the journal entry highlighted here:Underlying causeNumber of values don't synch up resulting in an error when adding data to the temporary worktable.FixEdit additional data and (1) Check the Group box for any columns that do not contain aggregates, and (2) Click Advanced parameters and check Group data by the targeting dimension element.PreventativeWhen adding additional data and computed aggregates in a Query, maker sure every column in the worktable is an aggregate or Group by, including the targeting dimension.

SymptomCampaign workflow is stuck in the 'Start as soon as possible' state.CauseCampaign Jobs technical workflow has failed:FixRestart the Campaign jobs workflow.PreventativeAdministrators can click on the Monitoring on the Home page and the Monitoring instance Dashboard shows all workflows in need of assistance. Even better, one or more Administrators should add themselves to the Workflow supervisors Operator group and they will receive notification when this workflow is suspended (fails).

SymptomThe workflow executes and appears to reach the End without an error but is Paused and one or more activity/steps are still blinking blue.Or an activity might blink red and you will see an error in the journal stating 'The computation step must have at least one inbound transition.'One or more transitions before the error/pause point are blinking orange (a major clue.)CauseNot all of your activities are connected.FixFor any that are disconnected, drag and drop them onto the incoming transition head.PreventativeWhen diagramming the workflow, move activities around. Connected activities should stay connected; the transition arrows follow them.

SymptomWhen saving a schema or previewing a form you get an error such as this one:CauseGenerally the problem is that your XPath is wrong. In this particular case, the XPath is referring to the extension schema namespace rather than to the correct namespace, i.e. nms:recipient.FixCorrect your XPath, the syntax in a transaction schema for a buyer link would be:<element label="buyer" name="buyer" target="nms:recipient" type="link"/>even though the Recipients schema might have been extended.Note that the link to the product in this transaction schema does use the custom namespace, because neo:product is a new datatype, not an extension:<element label="product" name="product" target="neo:product" type="link"/>PreventativeReview the XPath rules, and remember that an extension schema is not a new datatype. Rather it is a way to keep schema modifications isolated so they are not lost during upgrades.

SymptomActivity/step blinks red in the diagram, and the workflow goes to the Paused state (default behavior.)The workflow Failed flag is set to Yes (true) which can be seen in an Explorer folder or view containing workflows or in the Home page Instance monitoring dashboard.CauseAn uncaught exception during the processing of the activity/step.FixTo diagnose the exception, right-click on the activity/step and select Display logs. The fix will depend on the particular exception.PreventativeIn the future, avoid taking the action that caused the exception. Note:Specific exceptions will be described in subsequent discussions of this sub-forum.
