Description - Particularly Billing Record fields should be reportable Why is this feature important to you - currently when a billing record contains billable hours, expenses, and tasks, there is no way to report on the breakdown totals. These fields show on the billing record itself adding up all the hours, expenses, or tasks, but you have to open each billing record to find them and cannot report on all billing records and their respective totals. How would you like the feature to work - allow the below fields to pull into a report of Billing Records Current Behavior - These fields from a Billing Record are not reportable: Billable Hours Billable Expenses Billable Revenues We are currently relying on Fusion to fill in custom fields with these totals so they can be reported on.
Hi everyone- Scenario: We use Workfront's queue feature as our intake form to manage our incoming project requests. Users from outside our organization submit via the queue, and we then turn them into project plans. There are a few fields which are crucial to our project maintenance, but are not fields we wish for those filling out the form to dictate. One example would be a rich text field that we use for "status updates". I am an admin, so created an admin only section with these additional fields, but I am realizing that my users can't see the content of it, nor can they edit the fields. Typically, we go over our workload using the report, and along the way, we add notes into this status update field. Has anyone found an easy way to integrate necessary custom fields without making them forward facing on the form that does not limit view and edit access to admins only?

Hello, Is it possible to create a report view that tells me the type of proof a teammate used on their document? Our team is trying to monitor process adoption and would like to know if folks are still using simple proofs vs advanced/automated. Thanks for you insight!
Hi! Has anyone used the Workfront calendar to show all birthdays of your team/dept/org?If yes, how do you set it up? We are currently using Workfront to show when people are out of office (they input their own time off). And, we are also using schedules to mark company holidays. Both impact hour availability (admin manage this one).It would be great if we can also see birthdays on there, which does not impact hour availability. Right now, we are toggling between the Workfront calendar and an external one. Appreciate any thoughts or feedback!

I am really struggling with AI Assistant prompts. I think I am asking basic question like "How many tasks are in team's backlog (I provide the exact name of the team)?" It gave me an answer of 20 and I know there is 383. If I ask it "how many tasks are assigned to a certain user" - this is a question that is in your Best Practices guide - it gave me an error message for the person I selected and when I did it for me, it only provides 20 tasks (because it is truncated). Why is this happening? I also do not think it recognizes custom fields - we have a field called Resources Requested and AI Assistant does not recognize it. When will this be available?
I have a request to change an existing Workfront proofing workflow. They want to switch the first and second stages. I didn't see a way to do that. Does anyone know if that is possible and if so, how to do it? I was thinking about creating a new stage and then deleting the existing first stage. Would that affect any existing proofs that used this workflow? Any other suggestions on how to accomplish this? Marla
Description - I just made an error in my custom form that has layers and layers of display logic. I am trying to create a report to pull the fields I need to fix, but my report is massive since there are so many IF THIS THEN THAT scenarios. Can you create an option to disable display logic for reporting? Why is this feature important to you - This feature would save me/others a tremendous amount of time and help us rectify issues quickly. How would you like the feature to work - Could you include this in the report settings as a check box? Current Behaviour - This feature does not exist. Mistakes happen and the display logic makes it very hard to correct errors.
We'd like to have a default "Cancelled" task status (as opposed to using the Complete status with a "Cancelled" label). We don't want cancelled tasks to affect the Actual Completion Date or other project calculations.
Hello all, I'm trying to copy a project and it times out (I hit the blue "Copy project" button, the button turns gray, then after a 5-10 seconds the button turns back to blue and the project is not copied). The project I'm trying to copy doesn't have many documents, but it has 375 tasks. Have any of you experienced this? Thanks
Description - Since the search functionality updates in May 2025, we find the "basic search" feature in Workfront confusing and not useful. It has some serious limitations basically causing it to not display accurate results which leads to confusion. Why is this feature important to you - at this point I've directed my users to pin the "advanced" search page and use that instead, which feels clunky and confusing compared to just being able to use the search bar as one would expect. How would you like the feature to work -When I type in the search bar, recent items are suggested to me (working today well)If I don't immediately see what I'm looking for, I'll click "search" and then I would expect it to flow into the "advanced search" page from there where I could drill down as needed.Basically, go back to before May 😉 feel free to enhance search with AI so it makes smarter suggestions, but having both basic and advanced search feels unneeded from my chair.Current
I need to identify all the custom forms on an object and be able to filter based on all the custom forms (not just the first one listed). There isn't a unique field that would be present on every form so I couldn't use an existing field. I had an idea to create a calculated field on each custom form that populates a value if the form is on the object. But that means I will have to have on field for each form because there can be multiple forms on an object. I can do it that way but trying to see if anyone has any better ideas or knows a way to filter a report to see if a custom form is on the object. The Category field will not work because the form is not always the first form on the object. I can pull a report of all Objects and use the field that pulls all category names but we have close to 50k objects and it will take forever to get an export of that report each time it is needed. I have not figured out how to filter on that field - it seems like that field has also been
When I go to Workfront "Recents", the clock icon in the toolbar at the top right, I want the dropdown list in the "DOCUMENTS" section to open the actual proof instead of going to the "DOCUMENT > Overview" page. I see no benefit to opening the "Overview" page.I use "Recents" to reopen my current WIP proofs. The proof should be one click away not 2 clicks away. It is not a good user experience to first open to the "Overview" page. It would be better to open the actual WF proof.

Hello! We are trying to setup a new custom field, or check if the system can provide this, to track the date that a project's planned completion date changed on, our goal is to be able to review logs of when these changes occur in a project. Eventually we will want to use this field to provide updates in another fusion scenario that post an update in the project with what the date changed from, what it changed to, and when it changed so that we can historically track these changes. However, if we can export or report on specific system change information we would not need the Fusion scenario for this, so we'd like to see if it's possible without fusion. I was able to pull a report on plannedcompletiondate changes, however since our projects are setup by Start Date they aren't being captured because the changes are being driven by the task durations in the project template not changes made to the actual plannedcompletiondate. Description:We are requesting an enhancement to Workfront form field validation to better handle ligature-based special characters (such as ff, æ, fl and others). Currently, these characters can be entered into form fields without restriction, which creates downstream processing issues when the data is consumed by integrated systems or exported for further use. Current Behavior:Workfront does not validate or restrict entry of ligature-based special characters in form fields.These characters remain undetected until they cause issues in downstream processes (e.g., PDF conversions, integrations, or reporting).Requested Behavior:Workfront should include real-time validation logic that can automatically detect ligature-based special characters at the point of entry.Users should be prevented from proceeding to the next step until such characters are removed or replaced.Ideally, the system should display a clear error message indicating which field contains invalid characters.Business Imp
When I have a requested issue come into the "Intake column" of my board I move it to the "In Progress" column. Once converted to a project, I disconnect from the request project and connect to the live project to complete. Once I do that, it duplicates the issue and puts one back in the Intake Column.
My company was migrated to Adobe Admin Console this past February. I am positive I had the ability to delete user accounts from our Workfront environment, at least until this morning. I had a counterpart add a new user but entered a misspelled email address. She re-entered the user into the Workfront user system with the proper email address and renamed the first incorrect account as "Delete lastname". When we both try to click on "permanantly delete" we get an error message the says: ERROR User deletion is not available. If you want to delete users please useAdobe IMS instead.The first incorrect account is not represented in the Admin Console. I reactivated the account and still see no way to "delete" just remove, which puts me in the same situation.I contacted support and was told this is all expected behaviour. So if we mistype an email address we just collect a group of "deactivated" user accounts that we can not delete from our systems like an Admin might want to do?Has anyone els
The new Workfront Planning module is great but we are starting to see that Workspaces will pile up if there isn't a mechanism to organize/filterThis feature would help users maintain and organize their spaces by either folder or filter structures and also allow for archive. Currently there is only Workspaces I own and Workspaces I'm on.
Description - Like Jira, and other work tracking systems, Workfront is missing the ability to link projects and requests with an association (like related, parent, etc.) Why is this feature important to you - Our current process of taking requests in a workload and then grooming it. Then once groomed I need to open 1 or more new requests in 1 or multiple different request queues (Web Publishing, Analytics, AB tests, etc.). I want the ability to add these links to reports so I don't have to have a custom field to manually keep up to date with the associated field. How would you like the feature to work - I want a new section in the request details for Links. It would have a link with the ticket title. If a request depends on a project then only show the project. I would be able to categorize the link as related or give a parent/child relationship. The ticket type (request/project) would be shown. Description - When editing a custom form, the moment I scroll down into the form, the name of the form goes away. Would like it to remain!Why is this feature important to you - I have to scroll up constantly to validate I'm in the right form if I'm making changes across forms or working on multiple. How would you like the feature to work - It would be nice if the name header could stick so we can constantly see the name of the form just to be sure we're in the right form!Current Behavior - the title of the form scrolls up with the page.
