How to make product recommendations with user favourite category using category affinity?

What is an alias ID in Customer Attributes, and can we use a customer ID as an alias ID? What is the role of 'launch' while data mapping in Customer Attributes?

Hi, I want to implement the Category Affinity algorithm on my site.  The issue is that the tag management setup is via another team.  So I'll have to pass them the request to add the mbox parameters as per each page.  To make the tagging of pages effective and easy, it will be great if we can change it at our end.  So I am curious if we can add the tags via our content management tool itself - any meta tags that can show the category that can be picked up by Adobe Target?Thank you so much!

Hi,I'm having one problem, please find it here. I've created one activity. The activity is only displayed on mobile devices, however it also appears on desktop devices.I made an audience called mobile device > is mobile device > true, but it isn't working.

I am new to Adobe Target SSR implementation. We have used CSR global mbox before and now our new site is built on React so would like to take advantage of Server Side Rendering and I am using NodeSDK. Is at.js necessary for SSR implementation? I am loading at.js in the header but just really want to know if that is necessary for nodesdk. Also, the documentations for getoffer and applyoffer is vague and confusing.Also, I see lot of "undefined" values in my request (Screenshot below), is it a problem? Can someone help me with some details, please? ThanksPraveen

I installed  the latest version (version 25.12.0) of Adobe Photoshop on my computer, but I can't see the Reference Image icon near the generative fill field. This prevents me from using the function. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 

I am trying to build a recommendation activity using Adobe Target. However, I am not able to load the page to make my changes and gives me the error in the attahced screenshot. FYI: I already have the required extension that the note is asking for.

Is there any way to pass/access any dynamic variables in a VEC Custom Code script?  Page params, profile attributes, etc. What about `options` that can be sent to a triggerView() call in addition to the identifier?  I've never seen them used outside of the `{page: false}` example.  Can I send `{pageName: "Home"}` and then access that in the Custom Code modification?  How about Web SDK send event variables?At least in Form based activities I can access Profile attributes.  Is that possible in VEC?

Dear All, An issue with an A/B test that should be up and running on the 1st of october. Its basicly a questionary with one questing for A and onw for B including 4 Answer Options and a send button. My issue is, that i cant get the goals to work. I used click element as a metrik. the questions/send buttons are called the same so i thought the goal metrik should catch everything for both Tests, sadly only the B test gets any counts.Please guide.

Hey everyone, I've implemented target sdk and initialised on android. Created an activity through target with 2 experiences as json format. I am trying to retrieve the data through the mbox i've create by using retrieveLocationContent && prefetchContent but so far i am not able to. AdobeCallback seems to be null all the time. Any help would be welcomed. Adding code as example below. I am expecting to retrieve the json as a JSONObject but i am not sure what to expect. Hello Adobe Community,I’ve been working with Adobe Target recommendations and recently edited the model CSV guide according to my needs. I initially removed some columns that I thought were unnecessary, but when I tried to upload the modified CSV, the upload failed.Later, I uploaded a new file that included all columns, even those I had removed, and it processed successfully within five minutes.Could someone clarify which columns in the model CSV are mandatory for uploading the feeds? I’d like to understand why these columns are required, as I would prefer not to retain unnecessary columns.Thank you for your help!

Hi All,I have created one A/B test activity, and I created different experience using VEC target plugin. I need to show these experiences for all pages so applied template rule, tried domain contains and path contains rules, but the experience is showed to only home page and not any other pages. This experience is common in all pages.

I encountered an issue while attempting to register for an exam through the Adobe Credential Management portal, specifically with the Webassessor service.Could you please give me some insight into the cause of this error and let me know the expected resolution time? I would appreciate any assistance you can provide to help resolve this issue. Here are the screenshots of the error message when attempting registering and paying for the Adobe Target: Adobe Target Optimization Specialist exam.   I have emailed certif@adobe.com on this issue, but they have passed me to trainptr@adobe.com.

Hello, please explain why Adobe Target would need a mixture of securely transmitted web page (HTTPS), and insecurely (HTTP) content within the same? Reference: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/target/using/experiences/vec/troubleshoot-composer/mixed-content This software has a special editor (WYSIWYG - Visual experience composer) where the desired page is loaded in the first step to a target campaign setup. This module is neccesary to customized web site content for marketing colleagues. According to the Adobe video guidelines the reason is that „Insecure content allowed” options is prohibited in the browser by default. But our IT security team concerns about to allow this function in company. I seek an reassuring answer to them. Thank you for answers in advance. BR, KJ

Hi,I am trying to create a Experience Targeting (XT) Activity where; Users never been to a specific site section (Such as logged in experience) will see the Default landing page. But users who have been to that site section will see a different layout of the page. What I did: First I created the segments - I created and published a segment on Adobe Analytics 'not-visited ABC (Visitor level)' - I created and published a segment on Adobe Analytics 'visited ABC (Visitor level)'  In Target- I created a Experience Targeting (XT) activity where;> 'not-visited ABC (Visitor level)' for Default Landing page (Exp A)> 'visited ABC (Visitor level)' for New version of the page (Exp B)> All visitor for control experience(Since, visitors will see experiences in order, from top to bottom)How I created the New version of the page for Exp B?-The stakeholder gave me a preview link of the page and I created different offers using the HTML - one for the content b

I am attempting to make edits to an existing live activity but every time I attempt to save it, I am given this error: "ERROR Could not validate the activity. Please contact customer care for further help.". I have approver privileges and this only occurs for this one activity. Any solutions?

how to create a QAParams for a website in Adobe target in creating Experience targeting Activity

 Dear All,I’ve set up an activity for our client that involves excluding specific users based on their previous page and a particular product ID. The aim is to target users with this product ID, but exclude those who visited the designated page.My question is: Does this audience become active on their first visit, or only on subsequent visits?As I understand it, audience data is captured during the first visit and can only be applied in the second visit or next session, meaning there are no real-time audiences. Is that correct?

Hello community,  I´ve recently moved an adobe target setup to webSDK but one feature i´m struggling to replicate in webSDK.  In at.js I had some custom goals deployed with the function trackEvent and I used that as conversion goals for some activities (viewed an mbox). But in webSDK I´m not finding out how to do the same thing. I have reviewed documentation and found that I need to send a normal alloy("sendEvent) request with some options but that does not work in my case or I´m not doing it right. Also I found the documentation quite ambiguous in this aspect.  How can I deploy the same event tracking capabilities in webSDK setups? What I want to achieve is to send an event when for example some process is completed (I cannot use URL) and use that event as a "viewed an mbox" goal for my activities.  For extra information: I do not have Adobe Tags so I have implemented Target with Google Tag Manager and alloy.js. Thank you a lot!Thank you a

I am using Experience Templates To set up a lightbox overlay pop-up in my experience to display pop-ups to my defined user. Itlooks like something as below I have applied impression capping to the POP UP display by restricting it to 2 times display as below:   1) Set up the Nested Mbox parameter in the experience via XT under Modification as custom code                             2) created a profile script for pop up increment value capture   3) Created Audience to restrict the pop-up display to 2 times     However, when I set up all the above for overlay pop-up in my experience then why some users don't see it?
